    Leans

Texas St. +9.5 at Southern Miss .

54 Returning lettermen including 7 starters on both sides of the ball . Bobcats could make some noise in the Sun Belt this season (predicting 4-3 S/Up)  Waiting for this one to reach +10 and it should be worth $50-75

love the plays DU...i like to bet just the ml's but i think Fresno/Marshall/FSU all cover too...FSU has had trouble in past playing at Pitt and do start rookie QB but they are just waaaaay more talented than a Pitt team with nobody back.

Rutgers was so good last year because of their defense, which the main playmakers are gone and their offense relied on the rb who is also gone now.  Fresno will be so explosive at home.

Marshall offense is gonna be awesome this year, Miami has no chance keeping pace with them breaking in a rookie qb and coach.  Remember Michigan D was brutal then the next year they were average D, so it's possible that Marshall D has grown up and like you said added some good transfers to just be average because not many teams will be able to keep up offensively.

Right now games I am liking/leaning week 1 subject to the usual caveats of injuries, line movements, arrest reports and such. (I typically do not pull trigger on wk 1 until at least midway thru fall camp) - by the time it gets here I'm sure I'll bet only half of these for various reasons:

    Maryland
    Old Miss
    ULM
    Auburn
    Purdue
    Temple
Oregon St (Depending on Number, if playable)
Ok St/Miss St OVER (Depending on Number)
    aTm/Rice OVER (Depending on Number)

    GW

Double Up, I love all your plays right now. The only one that I'm not going to play is Texas st. My reasoning is that southern miss had an unusual down season and should have a bounce back season. On the other hand I thought that for their first season Texas st played very good and its harder for me to envision a repeat of that same performance out of Texas st. BOL I think you have great write ups and I to am from the western ny area so I know all about what you're saying!!

Ok St/Miss St OVER (Depending on Number)

    Right with you on
Maryland .. Hoping I can get this down to 14... FIU is gonna be brutal

Ole Miss looks like a coin flip to me , but then again I think Vanderbilt might have a hard time making a Bowl this season with the brutal schedule

Like that A&M vs Rice Over ... Guessing the total could be 73+... not sure if u will still like it that High ...60-30 sounds about right (track meet)

Not sold on the other ones right now ... Temple and Purdue worry me ...

I am on the Under 4.5 Wins ... London has some good coaches around who could steal his job soon IMNHO ... the schedule is Brutal .....

BYU 's defense is the real deal ...

I think Virginia will be lousy.  Looking at 4-8 most likely.  They've stopped pretending London can coach and brought in a babysitter to run the show while Mike concentrates on recruiting and organizing community events.  It's funny that London is great at organizing every drive (coat, bloood, recylcing) except those of the touchdown variety.  The administration has also stopped pretending that AD Craig Little-effort (-brain, -thought) can do anything other than look nice in a suit (a lesson that Penn and Rutgers both learned the hard way decades ago) and brought in a babysitter, football-only AD.  Heck, if UVa hires any more white guys to keep eyes on their black guys, it may constitute a hate crime.

On the field, the Hoos will have better talent throughout the roster, but fewer game-ready play-makers.  O'Brien will help a lot.  Making sucky teams suck somewhat less than their suckiness would predict is definately his wheelhouse.  He'll also know when to call time out - a nuance Mr. London failed to grasp so spectacularly against PolyTech last season, that a few members of the of the Cavalier Administration acually stopped congratulating themselves for hiring a black coach, put down their mineral waters, and decided that they needed to take some action, desipte the fact that Mr. London had led the Hoos to the ACC"s highest percentage of recyclable materials used it its concession stands -  two years running!

Virginia (which, by the way, is hard to get into) cleverly staved off a looming QB controversy by getting rid of both of the QBs who were, well, looming.  You know the saying, "it's better to have no QB's and have to try and find a right tackle who ran the single wing for 17 plays in 7th grade, than to have two QB's battling it out."  Or something like that.   The fact that there was a QB "controversy" at all speaks volumes as to how things work in Planet Charlottesville these days.   There was one QB who could play and one who couldn't.  The one who could had the misfortune of being a white guy who didn't have a phone number that started with 757.  He's now taken a step up in class, as he'll be running the show at the University of Richmond  this fall.  As for the lad who couldn't play, I haven't the faintest idea where he landed.

UVa has been selling the notion of a new "two-year plan" to the hundreds of season ticket-holders it has remaining, so I think damn near anything north of 3-9 should keep London safe for another year.  That's not because he would have earned it (at least not on the field), but UVa can't afford to blow the recruiting class it has shaping up for 2014.  Boy, just can't wait for the season to start.

Fresno Home Verse Rutgers Love this one ... see fresno Winning by 17+

Maryland Home Verse FIU  another one where selling points might be a good idea

Bama Neutral Verse Va Tech   gonna pass for now ... just a watch for me

Marshall Home Verse Miami Oh  My largest wager ever for week 1 ... Line is upto -14.5

Florida St Away Verse Pitt   could see the Noles winning by 14+

Minnesota Home Verse UNLV   pass , but it could be a blowout

Cincinatti Home Verse Purdue  Pass , but I really like the Bearcats this season

UCLA Home Verse Nevada   not sure ...

Louisville Home Verse Ohio    Bobcats take a step back this season
