it has been a while, time for college cheerleaders, redneck fans from the south and early season favorite lines, most here probably know my style, for those who don't here you go
 
Standard Wagers = 1 unit
 
Large Money Wagers = 3 units
 
the lines seem different this year than from year's past, but it will be the same old story, favorties cover the first few weeks and then the dogs will start creeping in and have value, I will post as often as I can handle the forum,  it is nearly impossible to leave Covers as I use alot of this website for my handicapping, the updated injuries section needs improvement from the last couple of seasons and hopefully that has changed but the matchup pages are nice

I will patiently wait for the SEC media hype to sink in and all the early action to bring down the Georgia/Oklahoma St line, it will most likely end up as a large play, UGA is going to be average this year and Okie St is going to be good, this game will be over by the half, Pokes by 17+ points, that being said, I will wait for a better line before the bomb is dropped

Texas will most likely win by 55 or more, but I don't bet big on 6 touchdown lines, just can't do it, Mack does love to win big for the alumni though and they love him for doing so every single season as huge favorites early in the year

I do have many "cats" for avatars, the one I use the most is a black cat smoking a cig, sort of displays the nervous energy you get from gambling so much like myself, I have been doing it for so many years bro and it is still a rush to me, gotta love it

 

as far the Boise game goes, Oregon should be the better team by season's end, but their QB is so inconsistent and Boise is a brutal place to play, Oregon has the talent edge but Boise has alot of returning players, a great coach and an effective quarterback, those reasons alone will keep me on the sideline of this game, I just want to watch it

man, we are on the same page... i couldn't agree more on Okie St, and i have Texas winning 66-10...

good to see you back, don't let the forums run you off early, just post your plays and walk away, check out the few threads you might enjoy and ignore the rest, especially Thurs night TV degenerate posts and Fri-Sat masses or can always go hide in the wagerline forums

Certainly, if President Obama needs ammunition to argue for increased coverage of mental health conditions, a little spin around old Covers High should do the trick nicely.

i go to texas. this is JUST about the right spot.

mack brown takes out his starters early in the 2nd half. what happens is he scores a bunch in the first half to excite the home crowd (especially game 1) but in the 2nd half, he plays mercy and sticks the bench in. our defense did not shut a team out once this past season. -39 would be my lean though. texas will score at least 52 points, but i don't know about the defense, especially in the 2nd half.

i see a final score of 52-7 or 52-10. we will NOT score more than 60.

Wahoo's- I was going to wait on this, but I can see its running already, this was my write up, well, reason I am on them.
 
Texas -40.5 (5 Units) line at bookmaker.

I was going to wait to put this in this way I was not holding up another 5 Units for 3 weeks, but I think this one is prob not going anywhere except up. I don't have any fancy trends or really think I need to except 1 thing. I said this in a couple of other threads, and I am a man of my word. Like Tony Montana, " I got 2 things in this world, my word and my balls, and I don't break them for nobody." I said I would play Texas ATS until the didn't cover. Hell have no fury like a man scorn by the BCS. Mack knows why he didn't get in was OU had more "style pts" at the end. Well, fear will not exsist in this dogo. He will show no mercy, he will sweep the leg. Then, add in the fact, he gets to play the " I have a guy who is trying to win the Heisman" card. More of a reason to keep him in late. I expect Mack to be worst than Spurrier and Bowden combined in the 90's. Thats it, thats my write up.

very good points, Bracks... absolutely agree with the "style points" argument...
 
here is a guy that was screwed over by the BCS last year... expect every team on Texas' schedule to pay dearly for it...
 
i will be very surprised if Texas isn't in the NC game... AND i will be very surprised if Colt McCoy doesn't win the Heisman...

What do you think of Penn ST -27.5 vs Akron? Happey Valley will be rockin and that running game should go for 250+....the defense should be stout enough to hold the Zips around 3 scores.....PSU 59 AK 17

Can Navy cover the 22 in Columbus? They are 1 dimensional and OSU always plays the run tough. The Midshipmen will be outmanned on both sides of the ball and Pryor should be able to run/pass all over this squad....

cant wait brother...love Texas as well

Navy can handle the spread if they can control the ball and keep the clock running.  Ohio State is going to do the same, because they want to see what they have in the first half, and get off the field as soon as possible in the 2nd half.  They have a date with USC the following week.  Pass.
