ive been working with my brother on a model that involve alot and alot of *At the spread* stats. I took entry from the last 5 years. I do it for fun.
Ive been on this for maybe 15-16 hours. I added a couple of my own *football difference maker* in the process. Well, i'm not here to explain my model anyway, i just want to show you guys what my model got for me. I have 3 Superlock and 1 lock.
What is your level of confidence for theses pick?
Lock: - Ole Miss (Pk) vs Texas Tech
Superlock: - Cinci vs Ucla (-16.5)
- Washington St(-3.5) vs Wyoming
- Marshall vs Miami Oh(-1.5)

don't use the term lock...you lose cred immediately when you say that...just make your picks and support them with rational prose...if you are consistently accurate, you will build cred...

Washington State loses one game every year that they shouldn't. They are replacing half their coaching staff (including stud DCoordinator Alex Grinch) and their record-setting QB Luke Falk. Mike Leach is as weird and distracting as ever. Proceed with caution.

I bet UCLA -16.5. Nothing big mind you, just one unit. Certainly not by using S&P, F/+, etc. Even Bill Connelly has it at -12.5. UCLA right now is total unknown with Chip Kelly taking over. So why bet UCLA?
Because I think Luke Fickell doesn't know what he is doing. He hired the wrong OC for the personnel he has (IMO). His interim job at Ohio State was a disaster. I believe he can't coach at the HC level, period.
Now, it could be I have some blind biased, but I don't think so. He certainly can recruit and maybe if he let's his assistant coaches coach they go someplace, but not this year.
So basically I am wagering Chip Kelly can out coach Fickell by -16.5.
Another thing, Kelly has film of Fickell's offense, but Fickell only has an idea what Kelly will roll out.
Having Oklahoma on the road next is not a good thing here but my belief is Kelly will make sure this is a solid home openning win.
Longhorn is right, you call this a "superlock" and I cringe! Bad choice of words. How about "High Confidence Level".
