What are you cooking next bro? Good luck as always and this is some of Dio's best voice work when with first time Black Sabbath. Along with Rob Halford of Judas Priest, perfect metal voices!
Proving is truth. Talk is cheap.

When I was 17 the band I was in was signed to Niji , Wendy’s record label and management co .
Ive sat in Ronnie’s living room and studio on Wells Dr a million times . One time they had me go head to head with Warren DeMartini of RATT lol We battled it out with Dio Wendy and Jimmy Bain as the judges … ?? DeMartini was cool but he wasn’t ready
I was lucky to be right in the middle of that scene in the 80s .
On another note hey Spottie who do you like tonight?

@MrHouse....great story. Thank you! My brother roadied for Max Webster and sometimes Rush....he is 6 years older than me at 65...he also did the Stones live downtown T.O. at the El Mocambo ......so I always got new fresh vinyl sounds in my ear. For a time in Toronto, I was exclusively co-ordinating private dinner parties for Warner Bros...and Keith Richards and I chatted a lot because I am scientifically trained as an earth scientist and him, others loved chatting ideas and just life in general. Golfed with Alice Cooper when he came to the restaurant regularly haha....that was amazing. He can play!
I wish I would have gone into music or other sometimes but I saw the drugs and other stuff they did and it did not appeal to me since I was already travelling as an athlete across northern U.S. and Canada trying to earn on the massive Beach v-ball scene....so went into other things. I am easy going around famous people and will talk easily and have some laughs...Keith is a big dude. (biggest hands I ever shook haha) He reminds me of Anthony Bourdain (famous travelling culture chef) who I also met a few times and wish he didn't leave the earth ...
You gotta experience life but balance is important...
