hey Bookie you haven't been the first one out of the gate the last few weeks and I was wondering whats been going on? it kinda sounds like you may think this isn't the most vital thread to the covers community but I can tell you your wrong if that's the case.

im pretty sure that if a poll was taken you would easily win THE MOST TRUSTED SOURCE ON COVERS AWARD.  I personally cant start a week off without checking you first.

hope all is well...

BA, love ya man. Split the CPLMLP last week. Houston got us. Bad spot for them I guess off the USF win. Tough loss.

Any thoughts for this week?

I'm a lot higher on NCST than most ppl, but they're in a great situation to cover a 16 pt spread this week....

Wake Forest is a terrible team.  Clemson beat them 63-3 and they played their 3rd-5th stringers mid second quarter.   Their defense isint capable of stopping even a mediocre defense, and NCST is one of the better offenses in the country.   

Wake will be without their best player, Sam Hartman, the QB that kept them from getting completely embarassed most weeks.   Since Hartman is done for the season w/ injury, Wake will start a red shirt QB who has never started a game before...

This one could get ugly...

No idea what you see if TCU. The QB is beyond horrible, and they are facing a West Virginia team that has a lot of momentum going for them, in addition to playing for a top Bowl Game, and a dynamic offense with one of the best QB in Division 1 football. They are averaging 40 points a game while only allowing 22. TCU allows 23 points a game, and have really nothing to play for. Where are they going to get the points to complete in this game??? or do you think they can shut down the WV offensive when in there last 3 games they gave up 13 to KSU, 27 to KU in a loss, and at home to the Sooners. I am rolling with WV with no doubts.

long rain delay didn't help.....but yep I shoulda looked at SMU closer.......figured Cougs were a really bad match-up for SMU....plus Highland Park is not eggzactly a snake pit ya' know......BUT SMU beat Tulane away.....and almost beat a really tough Cinn the following week......> ironically the SAME damm thing happened in 2016.....ranked Cougs got their azz beat ........

The boy has not been as threatening as he has been in past years, as he is the only reason I stop by across the street. As far as WV goes I just have a strong hunch they are going to explode on TCU, so I will be looking forward to seeing if my hunch turns out right.

Basically......I'm a broken and extremely bitter old azz man.....with serious health issues ....that works 6-7 days / week....

Recently....been trying to whip my sorry azz into shape....lose a buncha weight... etc........I also fired my doctors / insurance and now DIAGNOSE / TREAT myself...............
  * order my own meds (got a great spot / no prescription)......even blood work / x-rays.....so I've been forced to focus on this stuff....instead of CFB / drinking beer....eating nachos and pizza  < the shame of it......

Haven't been able to drink (had to lose about 25% of body weight) 
* so perhaps that's my problem.....handicapping sober is kinda like not drinking in a strip club....just can't be done..........

Hope you're getting better.

Health care in this country is based on the fallacy that it is a free market. It's not. The supply side's holding all the aces. When medicine became a business in the '80s, the patient lost. When the motive is all for profit, you can't trust the doctors anymore.

It won't get any better until we take the market out of health care, and that ain't gonna happen any time soon. So you best be taking care of you own health.
