Hey Sizzle,
I am seeing eye to eye with you this week. Can you believe all 4 publicly backed dogs won last week? Anyways here are the games I am playing this week.
I am definitely playing Nebraska -9.5 (the ultimate buy low sell high with Iowa a publicly backed dog as well), Syracuse +3 (good at home and Cinci is cooked with Munchie at QB), Texas Tech +12.5 (Another great buy low sell high, that win had to be the biggest win in school history for Baylor), LSU -12 (I think Arkansas is a fraud, Bama beat them by 24 and they barely beat Ole Miss and Vandy on the road). GT +6 (I love this spot for them at home, getting pts, vs a rival more concerned with the SEC title game next week).
Can you explain the Michigan-OSU line to me? I love Michigan in this spot as they havent beated OSU in 8 years but I thought the line would be -4 to -5 not -7.5! Michigan played Nebraska last week and the line was -3.5 and now its -7.5 at home vs OSU. Vegas thinks Ohio St is 4 pts better then Nebraska? Who do you lean to in this game?
Also, what do see in Pitt this week? That game stood out to me as well getting almost a TD but they arent good on the road and Ray Graham is out for the year. Do they have the offense to keep up with WV and can their defense slow down WV? I know WV has a shit defense this year but they can still score pts.

Thanks RJ. If you get a minute, can you give your thoughts on Lions/GB tomorrow. I don't understand that line. If this game was 5-6 weeks ago, it would have been GB -3 or something like that right? You couldn't find many anti-Lions backers. Line opens at 5.5, your favorite number. I figure it comes in, and its going higher. Are the lines digressing that much, or did they just struggle with success last few weeks and ran into some hot teams (SF, Bears)??
Also, SJSU finally got the big win last week. Nice call there! How you think they perform against one of the worst home favorites of the last five years this week? Line opened +7, down to +6 now.
Really like the NW pick. Good luck this week on bouncing back. Sometimes your local needs a break, u know!

Hey Sizzle,
I love Va Tech -7 this week. I think Clemson is reeling and Va Tech is focused and in revenge mode. Thoughts?
I also was curious on your thoughts on Ok St-OU, Mich St-Wisconsin, Texas-Baylor and the Big East games. I dont see alot of good spots this week. Teams should be up for championship games and Vegas knows quite a bit about most of these teams by this point of the year making it even harder to pick winners. Do you see any teams out there who are just going to throw the towel in this weekend?
