22-11 week one.....yeah, I went apeshit. I started off good and my plays kept hitting so I kept betting my leans....press when hot, lay low when cold....
Week 2
Tenn +14 (hook) ....I'll take the Vols at home catching 2 tds...Oregon is a good squad, but I wanna see them put up big numbers on the road vs a team with a pulse.....
GT -13 ....I think the line is fishy, but I'm gonna bite. Turner Gill will have this squad focused, but you cant polish a turd. They lost a ton from last year and a new sytem is tough. We all know you cant stop the triple option, only hope to contain it. I dont think the KU offense will be very successful...leading to a tough 3rd and 4th quarter as the Jackets keep coming at them....
FSU +10 (hook) ....This isnt really a fade of OU based on their performance. I think the Noles will be better under Fisher and Ponder is definatley the best qb on the field....ml will be added later...
Miami +10 (hook) .....Ohio St is a solid ball club....but, as long as they play Tressel ball they will never have that killer instinct....Pryor is a good college qb, put still cant pass for shit....Jacory can throw the ball and scramble...should be a good game, but i dont think the Buckeyes are 2 tds better
ECU -11.5 ....see LuDawg thread.....
more to come.....

Like John Wooden said...."Its what you learn after you know everything that counts."
Yeah, my wallet feels better...now the challenge is to make it fatter or at least not give it back
we have pick and choose the correct sides, that is a challenge, not to mention we have to have the ball bounce our way more than last season, I lost more plays by less than 3 points last year than I ever have in my life, hopefully we can win some of those close ones this season, I love winning, it just makes everything in my life better

All that is 100% correct my friend
I already caught one huge break with Maryland...they had no business winning that game or even covering for that matter...could have been 38-14 easily

Florida Atl +28.5 .....Bense thread pretty much sums it up....Mich St will win, but they have ND on deck ....even if they are up 35 they will not be trying to run up the score, they will be trying to get out healthy....if needed, the backdoor should be open....but, I think FAU is good enough to put up a couple scores, meaning Mich St will have to put up 42+ and that might not be enough to cover....

Well I'm aboard the Train with GT, I'll bite on the fishy line myself because regardless of their D, no way KU keeps up with them.
I'm also their with ECU, couldn't get through to my local last week in time(working Sat has disadvantages) but I'm all over it this week. Too good to pass up with Lu's insight and write up let alone his record when it comes to ECU.
I'm leaning the other way with the Vols, too many holes imo. The DD at home is something to think about more though. That and the fact the Ducks basically scrimmaged what amounts to a high school team in NM.

Good stuff Train. I feel the same way about GT. I feel like that line is completely set up for one sided action, but how can you say no? The public gets some right from time to time. I hate those sort of lines.
FSU and Miami feel a lot like UDubb and UConn from last week, but with these spreads being higher I have to take a ML shot.

I dont see the Hurricanes scoring much on that Ohio defense.....And Jim Tressel doesnt play the game his players do....and most players have that "killer instinct" at this level....But it should be a good game....I see a 21-10 type of game going to the Buckeyes....GL

It's not like UT has never lost by DD @ Neyland, They have, and will do so here. Ducks rushing game w/one of the best OL's in the country, will run all day against that bad D. James is back, one of the best RB's in the country. Tenn. has no run game, All new OL, 3 ret on O. If this were on a neutral field line would 21+ IMO, Just don't think home field is worth THAT much. BOL tho on the rest, play Iowa now 13-.
