Wheels- that Oregon defense is trash and it might be a good idea to bet all the team total overs against them this year-
I got bit by Penn St. as well- that is an embarrasing loss for them as they got dominated by TEMPLE- I think this team could also be the new whipping boys- not sure where all the Paterno defenders on this site have gone but I can't say that I feel sorry for the Nittany Lions getting trashed by the Owls

Boom, would you have backed msu before last week or is this mostly based on last weeks performances? I think puting too much stock into week 1 could be a mistake.
I dont think it has much to do with last week. MSU is just a straight up better team. I'm still frustrated about the bad beat last year, where MSU should covered easily and maybe even won in Autzen. Now this year they have the far superior OL/DL and Cook is an advantage over Adams Jr...... something they didnt have last year with Mariota on the field. Not to mention its MSU's first home game and they have revenge on their mind. My only worry would be MSU depleted secondary, but I think they can mask that with a good pass rush. I see a high scoring 10-17 point win for Sparty

I still think the most embarrassing play of the whole Week 1 was a sack on Hackenburg while only rushing 2 guys. The line couldnt hold up a two man rush for more than 2 seconds!!!! Absolutely embarrassing

I am an SEC guy for the most part and usually bash the ACC but Auburn did not impress at all- yes it was the first game but it was the first game for the Cards as well- The Auburn defense has been its achilles heel for several years now and they did not look good Saturday- Clemson is very dangerous team and will be the class of the ACC by far- the ACC looks weak this year but that Clemson team is legit
I still think the SEC is the best Overall conference...But not as much as you or other " SEC " guys think.
The ACC looked pretty good last year running all over the SEC winning 6 out of 9 matchups.
UNC and USCjr are both bad teams for both leagues. UNC was picked 5th in their division and so was S.C.
I think G.T, Clemson and FSU can compete vs any teams from the SEC. Most people consider Auburn as the 2nd best team in the SEC ( I still think they could make a argument of being #1)...and let's be honest here. You take away all those dumb mistakes that normally dont happen and they play that true freshman QB the WHOLE game, Louisville beats Auburn, I think that was pretty obvious....and what is Louisville?
The SEC is just like any other conference really.... you got really good teams at the top. Ok teams in the middle and bad teams at the bottom.

Last week matters nothing to me. I actually said I thought W. Michigan would prolly play well and cover that game.
Sparty knows this is the GAME.

Nice first week Boom. Points well taken on Hackensack (who's line will make him even worse), PAC12, Texas and WVA. TN is much better, but their D was really inconsistent. Be careful when they play a team with a real offense. You focused on Larry Fedora, but South Carolina is as poor as many thought based on their performance. Good luck in the coming week.

........Look who came back from the grave........Notre Dame Looked great As I knew they would. If you seen my Pre season top 25 I had them ranked higher than anybody in the country. They got some tough games vs G.T and Clemson coming up.
Yeah I haven't been on this site in a long time. ND has a tough schedule period. I'm anxious to see how Texas looks from here on out. I can't believe that they would be that bad. Guess we will see.

10. The season is young....everybody calm down! Week 1 has come and gone. If you won a bunch this past week, flush it. If you lost a bunch, flush it. The bottom line is this is a long season and you must take the good with the bad in this business. If I can give any advise to any new bettors on this board I will say this....Use your eyes an watch these games. trust what you are seeing and not what I or anyone else is saying. The best truth you will ever understand about betting college football is to trust your eyes. They will not lie to you. It's a long season men, get ready a good luck. The best is yet to come.
Best Words I have Heard in a Long Time...Very Wise...BOL to ya BOOM...Hammer em..!!
Lo, they do call to me. In the Halls of Valhalla! Where the Brave may live Forever

Awfully tough on Hackenberg alone there BOOM. He has seemed to underachieve a bit, but lets look at why.
He was sacked TEN times in a game Saturday. 44 last year. The kid kept coming out and taking his whooping. Tell me one qb in the world that will put up good numbers, have confidence, or be remotely successful when he is pinned on the ground or at least constantly pressured.
The O line is awful again this year and the OC John Donovan has done nothing to change offensive philosophy after an off season knowing this would be an issue again. Announcer Huard mentioned it on the set, Penn State threw ONE pass over 15 yards in that game. It was completed. What a joke.
All they do is run the same 3 plays every time and is the most predictable offense in america. I can't even watch it anymore. Look back at games since the start of last year, PSU is successful on the first few drives of a game and then it just goes downhill from there. Its because the coordinator doesnt adjust or change anything.
Its a shame the most talented qb penn st will ever have was wasted by an o line and oc who is clueless.
No conincidence as a freshman Hackenberg with Bill O'Brien was very successful. He will be a great pro if hes not too damaged by the end of this year, hell i just hope he is alive to see the nfl.
Heads are spinning in Unhappy Valley this week and Franklin better right this ship quick.
Great job last week and always a great read. Good luck to you this year.

This Paterno defender is right here. How does them losing to Temple have anything to do with any of that? Well I guess I know how, Joe would never lose to Temple and he sure as hell would not lose to teams like Ohio or UCF like they have the last few years.
Problem is those sanctions that they reversed because they went too far and blamed the wrong people, kind of effecting the o line now and depth on defense. But ncaa did their damage because they jumped the gun and now are getting sued and paying PSU back with scholarships and bowls. 3rd coach in 5 years doesnt help matters either.

I like Florida much better this year.... IMO they are still about 1 at the max 2 years away tho.
See that idiot yesterday on the sidelines vs Louisville? ...He is completely lost.
Most of us Auburn fans are thankful we held a Div 1 team under 30 points muschamp will need two years to get the ship righted....Clemson and Auburn are pretty much sister schools, why all the hate boom---ive never heard auburn people speak spitefully of Clemson

No hate for Auburn at all.... I respect the program and yes, both of our schools are alot alike. But with that being said...I have zero respect for Muschamp.... Im not sure whats more overrated.....Espn bias for the sec or Muschamp as a coach. The guy is a moron. He made himself a name by screaming on the sidelines at Texas and promoting his BS.

You should know by now that even though I am an "SEC" guy that I don't thump my chest about it like a bunch of others- I thought the conference was 3rd best last year and if Florida, Tenn. , Arkansas, and LSU can have good seasons then they may be the best this year-(S. Carolina, Vandy, and Kentucky stink this year) I think FSU is going to tail off this year and while I love Ga. Tech, I just think they are too one dimensional to be truly dominant but I love watching the option attack and wish Nebraska would never have gotten rid of it- Totally agree on Muschamp- I can't stand him- more of a cheerleader than a coach- After Clemson, FSU, and G. Tech the ACC falls of big time in my opinion- PAC 12 was disappointing and the Big 10 is horrible with the exception of OSU and Mich. St. I guess it is too early to really tell but that's why they play the games!

What's up boys?? Been a while, but been reading...
Things are bad here, I'm a huge believer in Strong as well, but that was pathetic, 2nd worse opening loss in history!
I will be interested in seeing how the rest of the season shakes out, I think if he can buy some time, he will be able to recruit his own players, but there's no excuse, coaching wise, how bad they played on both sides of the ball... and if it stays bad, he is on a tight leash to finish the year. Longhorn fans are astonished at that showing. Hope everyone has a profitable year!!

I am not sold on Georgia yet... Their performance the other night was not that impressive. Their QB just makes too many mistakes so I am scared of betting on them with that many points.
