Pretty sad day when the best bet I made was a push.
4* Central Michigan +21 push
3* Coastal Carolina -17
3* Tulane +12'
3* OREGON ST. +16'
Hope you all did a hell of a lot better than I did. Oh well, on to the NFL.

I went 1-2 bro + lost almost $800 in parlay and teasers ..... if Florida covers +10, I am dancing on the table and then taking my wife out to a nice dinner with $600 in winnings but that is the risk capital and decision edge we play with
thin edge of the knife and I love it haha ....
bare down time I find and I bet you and I will bounce back and have a positive week

Whew! My brutal weekend continued with two stone cold NFL losers, Dallas and Denver. Been a while since I've been skunked over a whole weekend. My pathetic record stands at 4-7-1 ATS in college, 1-3 ATS NFL, -18.1 units. Too many of those kinda weekends I might have to look for a different hobby!
Oh well, on to Week 4 and brighter days ahead.

Arizona St. went from -2' to +2' vs Texas St. in one of the biggest line moves of the week. Bobcat backers were left frustrated by two 4th quarter turnovers, the first leading to the tie breaking field goal and a 31-28 Sun Devils win.
UNLV rallied from 17-6 down to remain undefeated, beating Kansas 23-20. The Rebels drove 75 yards in 18 plays, all on the ground, for the winning TD in a drive that consumed 9:31 off the clock. Two items of note concerning the Jayhawks; they are essentially playing 12 road games this year while their stadium is being rebuilt. And QB Jalen Daniels has thrown six picks so far, five in the last two games, both losses. His confidence seems to be an issue right now.
Kansas St. played their best game of the season, running roughshod over mediocre Arizona, 31-7. The Wildcats rushed for 235 yards at 5.7 yards a crack, while the desert cats were held to 56 and 2.9.
Memphis rolled into Tallahassee and manhandled reeling Florida St. The Seminoles entered the game without their two starting offensive tackles and were held to 238 total yards, 37 on the ground. Next up for the Tigers; a second straight road trip to Annapolis where Navy awaits, off their bye week.
Cincinnati outrushed Miami, OH 215 yards to 24, a week after blowing a 27-6 lead in a home loss to Pittsburgh. The Bearcats open Big 12 play next week against Houston.

@Boisestateand8
Not sure if it will be this week, but Houston has major issues along the offensive line. Hard to criticize off a 33-7 win, but take a deeper dive into the 237 rushing yards they amassed. Two runs accounted for 102 yards. Take those two out of the equation (I know you can't) and it's 3.3 YPG. First two games of the season against UNLV and OU they had 96 yards rushing on 61 attempts. They also had a punt return for a TD and another score setup by an INT deep in Rice territory.
Fritz is a good coach and the team will get better. When they play some of the better teams in the Big 12 this season that offense is really going to struggle.

As expected, Michigan pushed Arkansas St. around like a bully in the schoolyard, rushing for 301 yards on 44 carries, while allowing just 58 yards to the Red Wolves. But the Wolverines did their damnedest to keep Arky St in the game, as QB Davis Warren threw three picks, but they still led 28-3 before allowing the back door cover. Warren has thrown just two TD passes so far, compared to six ints. and a change may be coming when USC rolls into town this week. The Trojans, off their bye week, have an improved "D" and QB Miller Moss looks like the real deal. Michigan better get their QB issues fixed fast!
Clemson, also off their bye week, entertains NC State and will be looking to avenge a 24-17 loss in Raleigh a year ago, a game in which the hosts were outgained by 162 yards! Saturday, the Wolfpack rallied from a 17-6 halftime deficit behind backup QB CJ Bailey, who led three scoring drives to rally past Louisiana Tech, 30-20. The rally was sparked by DK Kaufman's 33 yard pick six early in the 3rd quarter.
In a wildly entertaining game LSU rallied from 17-0 down to overtake South Carolina to win 36-33, spoiling the Gamecocks' conference home opener. The 'Cocks were looking to open 2-0 in the SEC for the first time since.....well, a loooooong time ago.
Texas Tech raced out to a 52-7 halftime lead over North Texas and cruised to a 66-21 win. Next up; The Red Raiders welcome Arizona St. to the Big 12.
Oklahoma St. shook off last week's close call over Arkansas with a 45-10 beatdown at Tulsa, as Alan Bowman went 24 of 31 for 396 yards and five TDs. Next up is the conference home opener vs newcomer Utah.
Tough break for Wisconsin, who lost QB Tyler Van Dyke to a knee injury in the game's first series, and Alabama showed no mercy in a 42-10 rout. Both teams now enter their bye weeks, with 'Bama prepping for Georgia, and the Badgers now dealing with QB issues.
Missouri received their first real challenge of the season and Boston College gave them all they could handle, jumping out to a 14-3 lead before the Tigers rallied then held on for the 27-21 win. Mizzou dominated possession time with 178 yards rushing (4 YPR) compared to just 52 (2.1) for BC.

Leading 20-3, and UMass threatening to make it a ten point game, Marquis Cooper returned an interception 100 yards for a TD, and Buffalo routed the Minutemen, 34-3. Up next for the Bulls; their MAC opener at Northern Illinois. The Huskies had the week off after stunning Notre Dame in Week 2.
Temple committed two more turnovers, both leading to Coastal Carolina TDs and a 21-3 deficit, but the Chanticleers could never put them away, holding on for a 28-20 win. The Owls are now -11 in turnover differential with 0 takeaways on the season.
Backup QB Marcel Reed went 11 of 17 for 178 yards and 2 TDs to lead Texas A&M to a 33-20 rout of Florida in the Swamp. The Aggies led 33-7 and were never threatened, but now face what could be a tricky little encounter with Bowling Green. The Falcons gave Penn St. all they could handle in Happy Valley a couple weeks ago, and had a bye Saturday. The Gators, meanwhile, are 1-2 and hit the road for the first time at Mississippi St. Lose that one and it's bye bye Billy Napier.
Miami exploded for 750 yards and a 62-0 shellacking of hapless Ball St. The 'Canes may get their sternest test yet at South Florida, which gave Alabama fits for the second year in a row two weeks ago in Tuscaloosa.
Pittsburgh was outgained 401-379, outrushed 191-78 and only had 23:43 of possession time, but for the second week in a row rallied from a double digit deficit in the 4th quarter to stun West Virginia, 39-34, in the latest edition of the Backyard Brawl. The hero was QB Eli Holstein, who went 21 of 30 for 301 yards and 3 TDs. In three games Holstein has thrown for 929 yards with nine TDs and two picks.
Minnesota scored their second straight shutout, this time 27-0 over Nevada. Up next, their Big Ten home opener vs. Iowa.

@PRIMETIMEE21
Michigan's switching QBs, benching Davis Warren for Alex Orji. I don't know if that's a BETTER option, but it can't be any worse can it? If they're able to get their running game going, eat up clock and minimize possession time for USC they've got a shot. But if they turn the ball over like they did against Texas it'll be a long day. BOL on your play!

It was a redemption week of sorts for a trio of favorites, and unfortunately I was on the other side of two of those.
Tulane fell into a 21-0 hole early at Norman OK, but rallied, narrowing the gap to 24-19 on Tyler Grubbs' 22 yard pick six. But Oklahoma prevailed in the 4th quarter scoring ten points on two Tulane turnovers and a turnover on downs to put it away. Sooners DE R. Mason Thomas singlehandedly snuffed out the Green Wave's hopes with three sacks, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and a pass breakup in a span of a little over four minutes late in the game.
I posted somewhere on the forum last week that Oregon was a time bomb waiting to go off. Unfortunately for me the bomb went off against Oregon St. The Ducks broke open a close game at halftime with 27 unanswered to rout the Beavers 49-14. QB Dillon Gabriel was outstanding, going 20 of 24 for 291 yards and two TD passes and also ran one in from 54 yards out. The Ducks amassed 546 yards, 240 on the ground.
Notre Dame led Purdue 21-0 late in the first half, then exploded for three TDs in the final two minutes and ten seconds and led 42-0 at halftime on the way to a 66-7 thrashing of the Boilermakers. The win came at a cost for the Irish though as three starters, OG Billy Schrauth, C Ashton Craig and DE Jordan Botelho all left with leg injuries.
Washington St. reclaimed the Apple Cup with a goal line stand with just over a minute left to knock off Washington 24-19. The Cougs SHOULD be 4-0 when they roll into Boise on September 28th.
Appalachian St. opened -3 at East Carolina but got bet down to +2 by game time. After falling behind 16-0, the Mountaineers scored 21 unanswered and held on to take home the money, 21-19. Statistically it wasn't that close as App St had a 181 yard advantage.
Iowa shook off an Iowa St. hangover to pull away from Troy, 38-21. The Trojans led at halftime, 14-10, but the Hawkeyes dominated with the run game, outrushing Troy 284 yards to 24.
QB Taylen Green was just 11 of 26 for 161 yards and a pick, but ran for 96 yards and two TDs, and Ja'Quinden Jackson added another 147 yards rushing as Arkansas broke a 20-20 halftime tie to edge UAB, 37-27. Green has always been an inconsistent passer, and will have to improve in that area with SEC play beginning next week.

Backup QB Isaac Wilson threw three TD passes to rally Utah from an early 14-3 deficit, and the Utes went on to a 38-21 win over an inspired Utah St. team. The Aggies' lead could've been bigger if not for Smith Snowden's end zone interception in the first quarter, and Cameron Calhoun's pick and 34 yard return set up Utah's go ahead score before halftime. The Utes head to Stillwater next for their Big 12 opener, and inquiring minds want to know; will starting QB Cam Rising be back behind center?
I went to the Lainey Wilson concert Saturday with four crazy women (talk about herding cats) and I missed the line movement between FAU and FIU. Still not sure I would've played it as I was hoping for FAU -3. But as I mentioned last week, FIU was involved in one of the phoniest finals of the young season when they throttled CMU, 52-16 despite being outgained by 60 yards! A 17 point 2nd quarter propelled the Owls to a 24-7 halftime lead and they never looked back, winning 38-20. They better be on guard this week for a letdown when they travel to East Hartford CT to take on a UConn team that gave Duke fits last week.

I thought Ole Miss might face a bit of a challenge after rolling over two cupcakes, and going on the road for the first time this season. Turns out Wake Forest was just a bump in the road for this Rebel juggernaut. Jaxson Dart went 26 of 34 for 377 yards and two TDs and ran for another score to lead the Rebels' 654 yard onslaught. Turns out Ole Miss can play some defense too as Wake failed to score a TD for the first time since 2019, and were held to a mere 46 yards rushing!
Mistake prone Vanderbilt rallied from a 22-10 deficit going into the 4th quarter to take a 32-29 lead with 1:14 left, but Christian Veilleux tossed a 25 yard TD pass with 15 seconds to go lead Georgia St. to the 36-32 win. It was a brutal loss for the Commodores with the SEC schedule coming up.
WKU raced out to a 28-0 lead on the way to a 49-21 win at Middle Tennessee St. The two teams combined for a whopping 1145 yards as both QBs took advantage of the defenses taking the day off.
Keep an eye on Sam Houston as they enter conference play. I like this team, I like their coach and I like their QB, Hunter Watson, who threw three TD passes in the Bearkats' 31-13 win over Hawaii. They're a play-on team anytime as a dog going forward.
I mentioned above how USF gave Alabama fits two weeks ago. They tuned up for Miami next week with a 49-24 beatdown at Southern Miss, a game in which they ran for a whopping 369 yards at 7.2 yards a crack. The Golden Eagles jumped out to a 14-0 lead over the Bulls, who were caught in an Alabama-Miami sandwich situation, but USF dominated the 2nd half.
Arch Manning came in for an injured Quinn Ewers, completing 9 of 12 for 223 yards and four TDs, leading Texas to another blowout win, 56-7 over UTSA. the Roadrunners have been road kill so far this season.

Georgia avoided what would've been one of the biggest upsets of the season, winning a 13-12 rock fight over Kentucky. The Bulldogs held their fourth straight opponent without a TD, but never led this one until scoring what turned out to be the winning TD early in the 4th quarter. UGA has a bye this week, before a titanic showdown at Alabama looms large.
Baylor struggled to a 6-3 halftime lead over Air Force, before exploding for 25 unanswered 2nd half points in a 31-3 win. The Flyboys have struggled mightily to get their vaunted running game going this year, and have yet to break 200 yards with just ONE starter back on offense from a year ago.
It wasn't that Toledo beating Mississippi St. was all that shocking, it was the WAY they did it that raised eyebrows. The Rockets scored on four of their five 1st half possessions to lead 28-3 at the break, and went on to a 41-17 beatdown over the Bulldogs. Toledo QB Tucker Gleason entered the game with a poor passer rating, but was 23 of 28 for 285 yards and three TDs. Next up for the Rockets; a trip to WKU in a potential letdown spot with the MAC slate upcoming.
KJ Jefferson threw a 20 yard TD pass to Kobe Hudson with 36 seconds left to rally UCF from a 21 point deficit as the Knights topped TCU, 35-34. UCF ran all over the Horned Frogs for 289 yards, averaging 5.4 yards a carry, while holding TCU to just 58 on the ground (3.4). The Knights had to overcome two blocked field goals and a PAT.
Curt Cignetti and his Indiana Hoosiers are the real deal. QB Kurtis Rourke completed 25 of 33 passes for 307 yards and four TDs as Indy throttled UCLA, 42-13, in L.A. There's an excellent chance the matchup with Nebraska on October 19th could be a battle of unbeatens!
Tennessee rolled up 740 yards of offense in a 71-0 shellacking of Kent St. The Vols now head to Oklahoma for their SEC opener, and look like one of the top five teams in the country.
Maryland rallied from a 13-7 halftime deficit, outscoring Virginia 20-0 in the 2nd half enroute to a 27-13 win over the Cavaliers. The Wahoos committed four crucial turnovers.
Houston ran all over Rice for 237 yards, including scoring runs of 65 and 37 yards, in a 33-7 romp. Next up for the Owls? Army. You think the Black Knights might run for a few yards here?
BYU romped to an easy 34-14 win over Wyoming, their 10th straight win over the Cowboys. It sets up a battle of unbeatens in Provo, with Kansas St in their Big 12 opener. Oughta be fun.
California overcame a sluggish start to dominate San Diego St. 31-10 to remain undefeated. Now they face winless Florida St. in Tallahassee in their first cross country ACC contest.
Fresno St. outgained New Mexico St. 525 yards to 138 in a 48-0 beatdown. Next up is a revenge meeting with New Mexico, who won in Fresno last year as a 22 point dog!

@DrStrangelove
The Ducks and Buckeyes should both be 5-0 when they meet in Eugene next month. Oregon's physicality will surely be tested in that one. Boise actually won the battle up front when they met in Week Two, and if not for two kick return TDS would've won that one. That's the thing with Oregon; what they lack in physicality they make up for in explosiveness.

Possible plays on my radar so far.....
ARMY -6 Slight lean, but they're one dimensional.
COASTAL +3' Cavs are turnover prone. 4 last week.
NAVY +9' off bye. Memphis off FSU, B2B away.
Rutgers +3' should be able to run all day here.
MICHIGAN +5' Run game, T.O.P favors Wolverines
Haven't looked at the night games yet.
