Week 4 - Better games?

I don't know if any of you have been watching NFL so far after 2 weeks, but I feel like these high level athletes are not prepared.

This year's version of College teams best 20 are also showing some tendencies from week to week so far as well? 

Does anyone know who the #1 Team is? Honestly.

AFTER WEEK 2

Here is my Top 10 and Jeff Sagarin's (1st one on the left and the one source Vegas tends to set lines to a lot):

Limited sample size and over reactions are tough this time of year, but FWIW, some #s:

And these teams can't help who they've played so far.  Michigan, for one, is likely an over reaction for ATS margin.  And the opposite is true for OU, think Cinci could play them tough this weekend.

Play #1 - Air Force -3.5  for 1 U   (don't think it will move down to -3)

-has anyone noticed their defense?

-if this is a tight ball game with scores being trading in the fourth quarter and its close, I hang my hat on the team that can score TDs easier in this case, AF should have no issue running through a porous SJST run defense

Play #2 - Syracuse -13.5 for 1 U 

-really high on this team

-strong road win with all facets of their team working well, excellent run and run QB but can put in a sub passer with 3 TD from 22 passes, wow! 

-will Army control the ball? Syracuse defense is pretty stout and got tested far stronger than Army has facing Syracuse' offense!

-week 4 is sometimes homecoming and if so, 4-0 mania will have the Orange fans rabid!

Definite 7 pt Teaser Key (looking for others) > TEASE W. Kentucky to +10.5 >> better QB and Troy does not score a lot with their offense despite a decent QB themselves

-WKY won by a TD last year and I believe this team can be better but don't think Troy is better than their team last year

Also: Marshall -5 > Tease to +2 pts (strong lean to even taking them ATS!)

-why is VTECH taking money with no run game/ iffy defense and serious receiver issues and their QB questionable?

Also: Michigan -24 > Tease to -17 

-watching this line

-last year, Michigan won by 35 pts and after some powderpuff games, the players will be more motivated to plow through an undefeated Rutgers team

-don't think Rutgers has enough dimension in their offense to solve a motivated Wolverine defense who along with the rest of the team are hearing chatter about them not being as good.....watch what happens!

BIG GAME: - based on what I saw of FSU in game 1, they are proven and I do not have Clemson even in my Top 15 but this game line smells a little bit to me, although, Clemson showed they cannot win a big game in a S.Carolina vs N.Carolina battle by losing to Duke easily. Now they get home but not a night game. I think Klubnik telegraphs his passes and the Clemson Oline was suspect. 

How do you stop FSU QB and their size at receiver?? 

Stats for FSU defense are not good however.......

Play #3 - SMU + 7  > 2 U  bought -125  

- last year, TCU won by 8 on the road with a noticeably superior team I thought....this year? Not much difference and surprisingly, SMU 's defense is strongest than a while with the same SMU potential to drive the ball most times they have it

I will look for your thread....just super busy with an initiative trying to get off the ground.

I see it but its one unit but Strong.  My focus and vision this week is all about CU.  Rutgers is playing a top 4 team not the past 3 cupcakes. 

Decided I am a buyer on Colorado if I see -21.5 

Backdoor cover is likely in the second half....Oregon 1st half bet might be the play?

I have Oregon -16.5 line here so ...watching this carefully 

7 pt TEASER KEY: Kansas +61.5 Under

-don't see BYU moving the chains on this secondary as much as they did their last game and see Kansas having some drives stopped by BYU's stop the run mentality

Strong lean to WVU on the TEASER as well .... +13 would be yummy

Play #4 - Ole Miss +7 x 1 U (feel like slamming this after viewing Alabama's defense stats and weakish offense as well)

-Ole Miss lost by 6 with a lesser team last year at home.....and Alabama is far lesser until they show otherwise

Like the Sparty +14.5 on the Teaser.....Maryland is not Washington 

UNDER IowaSt/Cowboys  +43.5 should be gold!

That takes me through the 4 pm game on Saturday.....some more thoughts later

-Strong Arizona defense and DeLauria turns the ball over a lot so I can see some drives killed here and lots of middle of field play and punts

-Stanford have been in 2 offensive games so far and have not seen a defense like this yet ....their two offensive type games went to totals of 61 and 66

Play 7 - Washington -20.5  1 U

- can they overcome jetlag ?

I think so as Cal will have to hang with them in the first half to use their ground game, otherwise, this is a bet on the Saturday night crowd giving them some juice and Penix carving up Cal for a nice 1st half lead and Cal having to adjust the whole game which won't be good for them going against a good Wash secondary
