Even though last weekend wasnt quite as good as the other 3 so far I still cant complain. I hope to get back to another monster week of college games and am thankful we only have to wait one more day to get back to work. Tonight i will finalize my play on the KState Louisville game tommorow and start to figure out the gameplan for the rest of the weekend. As always i welcome your questions and comments. GLTA

Hello all,

ok sorry everyone for posting so late and not even doing a write up on this one like i said i would but i will tonight for sure for tommorow and friday, anyway, i just make my bets and i went with:
Selection #1 9/17/2008 8:00 PM - (EST)
Football College Wager Type:Straight Bet Louisville Spread +6 -110 for Game Risking $110.00 To Win $100.00 USD
Selection #2 9/17/2008 8:00 PM - (EST)
Football College Wager Type:Straight Bet Louisville Money Line +205 for Game Risking $48.78 To Win $100.00 USD
i know i said i was leaning Kstate, but after a lot of reading and thinking about this game over the past 24 hrs left me thinking many things.
1. i like kstates qb better, but i think cantwell could have a good game coming off an off week playing at home, thurs night, espn, etc.
2. kstate doesnt travel/play well on the road. their road woes have been well documented not much else to say
3. line movement- this is what really settled it for me. getting a team which i see as about equal to their opponent, who is getting points, at home, then the line finally jumps up on gameday after sitting at 4 forever even with all the money on KState all along, very fishy, but 6 points was the breaking point for me. ill go ahead and get on vegas's side of this game. glta and will be back later with possible halftime play and write ups for tommorow. glta as always and feel free to leave any input i will try to respond asap

i havent been doing many write ups this year as i havent had much time but im going to try to be better about that. what i generally like to do is just give you some info on why i made the pick i made. in this game there are a few areas in which i believe one team has a distinct advantage over the other.
1. Coaching- personally i think that hawkins is a pretty good coach, while i believe that stewart is in way over his head. if he is still the coach at wvu for a few more years you will all see the program spiral downward. there is no way this fool will get recruits that are half the athletes rodriguez could. sorry mountaineer fans but you are screwed.
2. can you say blackout?- haha this will be CU's annual "blackout" game, look for an extra loud/drunk crowd to be super rowdy for a thurs night espn game that everyone will be watching cause it is the only game on. CU will not want to let the opportunity pass them by to make a statement in a game like this like they did last year against FSU, this game has been motivation for the players over the offseason and they showed signs of a lookahead last week with their struggles in the first half.
3. depth- wvu has only 2 tailbacks on their roster with a wr who can also play if needed. if there are any injuries to their backfield look for that to really hurt wv. also look for cody hawkins and josh smith to have big games for CU, that will be needed for a cover or SU victory, J Smith is a baller though, rest assured,
4. this isnt really a reason to pick one team or the other but rather another reason to watch- EA Erin Andrews, without a doubt the hottest sideline reporter ever, will be working the game. so hot
5. last but not least, gotta believe in the home dog esp when my numbers show 78% of the money is on WVU.... sound familiar?
my plays
Colorado +3 110 to win 100
Colorado ML 100 to win 125
as always glta and feel free to leave me any input, i will try to respond asap
will hopefully have a write up on fri game later on but i can already tell you i am 99% sure i like baylor and even baylor ML unless theres something out there i dont know about yet. will let you know. glta

the first thing i always look at is quarterbacks and coaches. in this matchup i really like Baylor. Their freshman QB griffin is badass. like really badass. i also like their new coach. advantage-baylor
secondly, i do think that baylors D will be able to slow down the Uconn running game and lorenzen is a mental midget, i think he will throw a couple picks.
will discuss more if you have any questions
