Ill bite. Saw this number pop up earlier and I had to do it.... Heard a radio interview with Stanford play-by-play guy, Dave Flemming... He mentioned that he thought this was the worst Stanford team he has seen in a decade. I agree. They just dont got the guys right now. Im in Pac 12 country and I can tell you, CRAZY things happen in Corvallis, and in the Pac 12 in general, at night. 2 years ago, Stanford won a nail biter in Corvallis with a better team. They need a victory badly but so do the Beavers. Ill bite
You have an angle there and thats always good. Not sure how much insight he can provide tho.... Mike Houston (New ECU coach), came from James Madison... Surely changed things up, however, he may help identify player tendencies and weaknesses and that can only help. I think ECU is the more talented team and I like Houston a lot. I feel like ODU stock is soaring right now after covering vs both Virginia teams.... But im betting they dont have enuff gas in the tank to stay at that level 3 weeks in a row. especially against a team that duznt move the needle like ECU. Im selling high on ODU
I dont play totals much in the first month of the season.... I give teams the first month to figure themselves out. After about 4 games, your stats and data should start to become more accurate recognizing teams and their tendencies. At least, thats the goal... 
Now we are in the meat of the bone. This is where we found out how serious teams are... How DEEP they are.... Injuries and schedule quirks will show up now... and in another week or two, we will see WEATHER. I cant believe its been a month already.....

Georgia Southern +3 v ULL
Georgia Southern opening fun belt play at home vs ULL. I really like this matchup for them. Georgia southern has DB’s that play the ball well and can make plays. The Golden Eagles dont really give up big plays. ULL has to prepare for an option attack they havent seen in awhile and I just think Georgia Southern will lay the wood after getting into into a dogfight with Minnesota and being clobbered by LSU. They will be chomping at the bit to beat up on someone more their size.
You know.... I look at my card here and I notice that im kinda on an island by myself with these games. I havent seen anybody else touching these games. Theres a couple games others have hit that I agree with, and some people are on Stanford, but generally, Im kinda solo.... Not sure how I feel about that. I cant really remember being this far off the common path. Usually i have a couple games in common with others, but not this week. I chose some close games that can kinda go 50/50..... Maybe I did too much thinking this week but we’ll see
True, I generally don't bet but a handful of games so I don't go with the ones that look to be more of a gamble because the line is to close to how I see the game from my own analysis. Doesn't mean you will not win all of these, hope you do, but I look for major discrepancies to what I feel. If I were betting these, I would like ECU best, agree with you on the new coach, he will do well there and get them rolling in the next couple of years. I look at posts here to see/hear things I may have missed myself, or to get confirmation. Best of luck to you, nice job you do on here.
My best, and largest bet this week will be SC -3 against a wounded KY team. Desperation for the Cocks who are at home in a game they have to win. Have doubts the KY QB, a backup himself, will play much. Carolina pass defense is weak but they are pretty stout against the run, just don't think the Cats have much of a passing threat. Low scoring game, I am on the home team.
I am leaning on a couple of other teams, but haven't pulled the trigger yet. I have booked a 1 unit play on a 3 team teaser with ND -2', an ohio state -7, and A&M -13'

ISU/Baylor is Cruising. Probably my easiest bet of the weekend. Rhule and Campbell can both be EXTREMELY conservative in big games. They know you play defense and wait for mistakes. That game is going exactly how I thought it would.
