Right off the bat looking at your plays Wahoo, I really like Auburn(Cause LSU is terrible ATS), Oregon State, and West Virginia.
I'll be looking to make bank on those plays. One pick I looked at that I thought would be good is Cal/ WashState. I was surprised not to see you on this pick however.
Do you have any thoughts about the game?

I'm sort of struggling to find plays on this card, though I do very much like Idaho, USU, Auburn and KU. Like the Farm and Big Blue as well. Not really against any, though I doubt I'll have the guts to play the Beavers or the Devils. I'll probably wind up on CSU and Washington as well. Probably like the Rams more than the pups, given the back-to-back road heatbreak suffered by the Purple People.
Stay hot, my man.

Just one question as I do not want to take up too much of your time wahoo. What makes this a play for you? I wanted to play the Bears strong, but since I saw you on it this week, it is making me want to steer clear. Please let me know your thoughts on this game & why you feel so strongly about this one. Much Mahalo & Aloha from Hawaii.

Turning it around after an 0-11 week is one of the most impressive things I've seen this year in the forums. It's very difficult to bounce back mentally from something like that, and you've done it and done it with class ...

I actually do things a different way than most do, it would take much too long to explain the ends and outs of what I do and why I do it and most on the forum wouldn't even begin to understand what I was talking about, so I will not get into it
you are now free to back the Pokes as they were dropped from my card this evening, more drops and adds will be coming, you can bet on that
current but not for long, as some lines are dropping into place where I wanted them on Sunday Night

the Rams huh? well, one thing going for you in that game is RL (the SDSU QB) is gosh awful at times, he tends to have the Jevan Snead Syndrome
afraid to back the Devils? I don't even think that will be a tough bet old friend, Dukies by 17

I think Cal will roll them but I'm not gonna lay 35 points, if Riley throws 2 picks with a spread like that or the Bear RB's have a fumble or two then you can kiss the cover goodbye, that number is much too high for me even though they will probably get the cover in the end, I am picturing 52-13 in my head

wahoo, how do you like UVA's chances this week vs. Georgia Tech?
I remember you ragging on GT pretty hard last week, saying that they couldn't beat any team with a good defense.
the Hoos beat them last year in Hotlanta, my biggest concern for UVA is the start time for the game, noon games in C'Ville have a tendency to be a snooze fest, most of students aren't even awake and if they are, they are too hungover to go yell at a football game vs. Georgia Tech, if it was a night game I would be all over Virginia at + 6 (which is the current number), I doubt I will end up backing them in the early start, we shall see, I will tell you that the Cav defense isn't a worry for me here, I would worry more about the consistency of their offense to put up points, Groh will have the defense ready

Your words are never in vain w/me wahoo. I am very intuitive & an eager beaver when it comes to Capping 101. I love to learn from the best, and I must say that you are one of thee.... If you do care to share your insight one of these days, I would be much more receptive and less critical than most. I know it's hard trying to feed all these hungry mouths, so I'll let you do your thing sir. Thanks for your response.
I do love Utah State for the 2nd week in a row. Glad to see you on it as well. Duke & Michigan are also plays that I am in total agreement with. Much mahalo to you & aloha from Hawaii.

Yeah, the more I look at the game the more I get away from wanting to lay the points.
Your card has to many good plays, along with other good plays on the board to make that play.
Thanks Wahoo!

This is a great list. Plan to borrow liberally. Having seen both USC and OSU, I'll be a spectator in this one. Carroll likes to drop the hammer on upstarts in the league, especially at home. Strong dogs across the board here. Glad to see the ramblings back this week.

thanks DP, what once looked like a sure losing season has all of a sudden started looking better, I truly feel I will get over the hump and actually make money for the year which would be one of my better feats in recent memory after this start

looking at your current card , i see that feat becoming more probable. In love with it for the most part. The only one i disagree with is the utah state play but most of the better cappers i read are in agreement with you there , so it's probably one of the many games i get wrong each week.
Best of luck wahoo and continued success.

I'll trust you on Duke. I generally try and stay away from teams playing "out of role," but did cash with Idaho -8 a few weeks back, and you don't get much more "out of role" than the Vandals laying significant wood.
CSU seems to be a different animal at home. You also have the nice intersection of games where they played worse than they are (getting drilled at TCU) and the Aztecs played better than they are (hanging around with BYU). If the Rams want to go bowling, this is a must. Good spot, but funny line movement may keep me on the sidelines

not sure if you read my thread or not wahoo, but Todd may have reinjured his throwing arm in the TN game, which would explain why he has been far from perfect the past 2 games...it hasnt been confirmed yet, but thats the talk around the town

I know what you mean by "out of role", it isn't every day that the Dukies are laying wood, I honestly think they are better than Maryland though and at home, I think they have some success through the air against the Terps and all signs point to the Terps just calling it a season, that team just can't beat anyone not named Clemson
don't trust me on that game though my friend, you bet it if you like it, we both know you are having a much better season than me so don't let me persuade you on a game, you don't need my help, I probably need yours
I'm going to look at the Colorado St more, it is about time for them to beat someone and that line is now getting in range to interest me

thanks for the post and I guess that would help explain their offense being ineffective lately, that isn't showing up on injury reports but I certainly can believe it, it would seem that if he were healthy then the Tigers could hang with them, LSU doesn't strike me as an over a touchdown favorite type of team, I'm going to find out if that is true though, I know the just the person to call and he will know for sure, thanks

I agree that Groh will have his boys ready, but I dont know if it will matter. I am actually liking the under more than a side becuase both teams will be running a lot. Maybe some stalled drives and fg attempt....
you better pick out 5 or 6 more games so we can compete!
I notice you never play totals and am curious why? you are a sharp numbers man and would assume you could spot some totals....
