good point and I don't know the status either, what I do know is the National Champ hopes have died for Georgia, they are a mash unit on the field and Vandy should be able to put up some points on that defense, I like Franklin and Vandy is hungry for a win, I think they will want the game more and be a live dog, hope I'm right

I have seen UNC play some this year. That team has talent but they are a mess.  No one seems to be on the same page.  Especially on defense.  It seems like a sucker line, but Miami should roll in this game.  A lot of people had high hopes for the Tarheels this year but they have been a major disappointment.  Miami defense is as good as VT defense and the offense is definitely better than VT. 

The possible play on ULALA was my reference.  I just would find better plays.    GL,   Doc

Like the buckeyes a lot this week. Iowa hasn't seen a top 80 offense since week 1, throw in myer off a bye at home. Buckeyes by 21+.

W!  Did you see the game byu vs utah or byu vs utah.  Byu has trouble defending the pass.  The games that theyve won have been against teams that predominantly a running team and has poor running D.  Houston is a balance team with good rush & pass offense.  Plus they can defend the run

I just got some info on BYU that may have me buying out but I wasn't concerned with the matchup aspect at all, I know Houston very well, I follow them closely

BYU is out for now, couldn't find a +9.5 on Houston so had to swallow the juice

don't think Miami has as good of a defense as Va Tech does but their offense is certainly better, this TV spot should have Carolina ready to go but they are weak in the trenches and don't have the explosion they thought they would have offensively, Fedora has been disappointing in my opinion

Shaw's playcalling on the 10 yd line at the end of the game vs the Utes for the win left me talking to myself.......overestimated the defense as well. 

Just a bad showing in conference on the road....can't do things like that and be in the mix for a national title.

Do you have any thoughts on Toledo. They are laying 7 at home, off a bye with a week to prepare for the option.

I thought Toledo would be better than they have been this year, I've been disappointed in their performances so far to be honest, it's hard to know when Navy will get the momentum going and run through teams, they are a tough to predict.  I suppose the bye week should help Toledo but they can stop the option for 4 qtrs?  I can't answer that question but I do think Toledo will have success offensively against the Shippies

I have Toledo on my card, reasoning behind this is as you said they had a bye week leaving them two weeks to prepare and Navy was dismantled this past weekend by Duke whom runs a similar offense like Toledo with a dual threat QB in Terrence Owens.  I believe Toledo will be a good play this weekend.

I am shocked I have not seen FLORIDA mentioned ITT ??
UF -3 is a gift IMO and here's why. UF has the best defense in the SEC right now. Bama is 1a but UF has 2 NFL corners and a 3rd in the making (VH3). UF can rush the QB and get quick pressure with only 4 guys. Their secondary is fast and hits like a Mack Truck. Mizzu lost their key player (franklin) to the offense and the back up is not the same. Mizzu had a tough time moving the ball on UGA most of that game last week. Their TDs came from big plays and UGAs "lack of" defense. This UF defense will make Mizzu drive the field and will not give up the cheap stuff. Remember, they only scored 7 points on UGA in that second half where the offense actually drove the field. The other points came off turnovers from UGA.

UF will get a few scores off turnovers and will shut down this overrated Mizzu offense. On the flip side, UF has a struggling offense. But they're good enough in the run game to put up 14-17 points on this Mizzu defense. UF is just gonna bully these kids around. Classic Bama style and Mizzu will do the rest with turnovers.

Just curious what info on BYU caused you to back away from this game? Injury? Suspension?

BYU makes me nervous this week for a couple reasons: (1) Their DB's are really bad but they haven't been exposed because Bronco has been able to protect them based on scheme and the types of offenses their opponents have ran. Houston throws the ball better than other opponents BYU has faced this year. (2) The bigger concern I have with BYU is that I really believe BYU is overlooking Houston this week. BYU has Boise St on deck, and is very focused on winning the BSU game. BYU has lost all 3 meetings between BYU and BSU. The last two were lost on a missed field goal and a missed attempt for a two point conversion. It drives BYU crazy to lose to BSU and I think they are really focused on ending that losing streak next week. The BYU/BSU matchup will likely become a decent local rivalry over the next few years as they are scheduled to play 10+ games. On paper BYU should cover the 10 point spread pretty easily, but who knows where their heads will be at with Boise State on deck.
