******Week 9 NCAAF Selections*******

Oregon comes in off another blowout win on the road while USC comes in off big win over lowly notre dame.  Oregon has been flying high with the #2 ranked offense, 3^rd in rushing and 38^th in passing. USC has the #3 total defense, 3^rd rushing, and 20^th passing.  USC has the 32^nd ranked offense, 20^th rushing and 55^th passing. Oregon defense ranks 67^th overall,  50^th against the run and 88^th against the pass. So both teams have great offenses but USC dominates when comparing defenses which I think is being overlooked. But USC has not seen an offense like Oregon at the same time. USC ranks 94^th in total turnovers while Oregon ranks 34^th in turnovers forced.

NCST off a dog su win at ECU while Virginia won at Maryland. NCST is without their top 2 running backs and starting QB. Virginia has the 102^nd ranked offense, 77^th passing and 92^nd rushing. But they have a very versatile QB in sewell who makes things happen. NCST defense ranks 77^th overall 103^rd against the rush allowing over 200yds a game and 34^th against the pass. NCST offense ranks 104^th overall, 109^th rushing and 53^rd passing. Virginia defense which is the x factor in this game ranks 21^st overall, 25^th against the pass and 34^th on the ground.  Led by chris long cavs rank 19^th in the nation in sacks while ncst ranks 81^st in sacks allowed. Finally ncst does not take care of the football being 117^th in total turnovers. Cavs 3 road wins has been by a combined 5 points.

Kansas comes in off an impressive road win outside of Kansas while A&M comes in off a road win over lowly Nebraska. Kansas D is a big step up from what mcgee and co. saw last week ranking #5 overall and 7^th against the run which is A&M strong suit ranking 5^th but 111^th through the air. Kansas has the 10^th ranked offense and A&M gives up 265 through the air (100^th)  Kansas will have time to throw as well as A&M ranks 103^rd in sacks. Kansas averages 3 penalties a game (2^nd in nation)

Road team is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meetings.

According to my numbers this is the largest differential ive seen with such a low number SOS is the only thing not making this a "GOY" type play

Texas tech comes in off a blowout loss at Missouri while Colorado suffered a home loss to Kansas. Raiders come in of course with the #1 total offense and #1 passing game. Colorado defense ranks 35^th overall and 34^th against the pass. Colorado offense ranks 68^th overall 82^nd rushing and 45^th passing. Texas Tech defense ranks 51^st overall 81^st against the run and 14^th against the pass. Colorado ranks 2^nd in fumbles while tt ranks 2^nd in fumbles forced.  Colorado while being 34^th against the pass is 70^th in yards allowed per pass. Harrell completes almost 73% of his passes (tops in the nation)

Utep comes in off a bye week while Houston off a blowout win over UAB. Houston has the 6^th ranked total offense, 13^th rushing and 15^th passing. UTEP is ranked 115^th overall defense, 78^th rushing and 117^th passing. UTEP has the 15^th ranked offense which is balanced but Houston ranks 46^th overall in defense and that is where the key to this game lies. The thing that worries me here is Houston ranks 113^th in total turnovers while UTEP ranks 10^th in turnovers forced.
