Week 9 Winners

Season 21-19; Last week 5-4. Looking to get hot and going with these early grabs:

Auburn +3 (2U) - LSU coming off impressive win at S. Carolina, but think that just adds to the value here. Auburn getting pts at home after a solid road win at Ole Miss. Still don't trust LSU has righted the ship after giving up 44 pts in opener to Miss St. and 45 pts to Mizzou two weeks later.

Purdue -7 - Impressive win over Iowa; Illinois not impressive against Wisky; Trusting my eyes and a Rondale Moore sighting 

Ok St -3.5 - These Cowboys are impressive and Longhorns not so much. Line seems obvious and tilted to Okie St, and thus fishy, but I'll bite. Pokes undefeated, playing at home, #6 rated team in the country giving just over a FG to an unrated, defensively inept and depleted Texas team. See you at the window! 

Coastal Car -2.5 - On the Chanticleer bandwagon last two weeks so let's make it a trifecta! They completely outlpayed Ga So last week and just think another undefeated, ranked team against a decent, but not great foe presents value. This one admittedly scares me a bit and is my weakest of the four opening bets, but going with the trend and my heart...doesn't hurt that Ga St's two losses (ULL and Ark St) were both CC wins if common opponents have any meaning to you. Proceed with caution.

I did say Coastal was my weakest; however the line is trending in my favor. I got it less than 3 and it's up to 3.5. Guessed right on grabbing these early. Doesn't always work out that way.

Adding Kansas St +5 (1.5U) - Wildcats come into this on four game winning streak and 4-0 in conference. Totally winnable game that I see as a coin flip. Not sure what West Virginia team we will see. Coach Klieman always has KSU ready to play, and I expect nothing less despite a long list of injuries and question marks. That's helping add some value IMO. Don't overthink this. Should come down to a FG either way and I'll take the team with the better record/showing against common opponents.

Cap, what do you think on the Gophers tonight ?  I know the defense is lacking,but is Mary as bad as their score showed last week. Part of me thinks Mary may be an entirely different team this week,just not sure .my first lean is the old gophers in a rout

Nice Bridge...I wasn't aware that McCall was good to go. Like it a lot. They have a capable back-up who started most games last year too. Just think they're on a roll. Crazy things happen in CFB, but it's hard to see why I'd put my hard earned money on an ordinary Ga St. club when the Chanticleers are a confident bunch with dreams of an undefeated season

Coastal Carolina - agree

Geo St has been the doormat of the Sun Belt for years. Carolina is rolling and beating good teams. The spread looks like overthinking.

My Gophers are a mess. No defense whatsoever.

Small solace in hitting the over that I didn't post. Also on ECU +17 (not posted) and Wyoming-Hawaii U60. I don't know why I post anything as I'm much better going with my eyes/gut rather than breaking down games. Looking at a few other games tomorrow. Will post if something jumps out.

Adding Baylor +3 (2U) - Not convinced right team favored here. An ordinary TCU club how is 7-15 ATS in last 22 B12 games. Too much respect for Horned Frogs IMO. Waited for juice to come down on +3 and locked it in. Go Bears

Adding Rice -1 (1U) - Shamelessly following the sharp money. 57% of public on So Miss and line has gone from Rice +3 to Rice -1. Hmmmm.

Adding Ohio St -10 (2U) - too much firepower and home field almost means nothing. Bucks have Natty Champ on their minds and loaded team.
