@BigWilly
Luck goes both ways the WVU got lucky with a 4th and 10 50 yard TD with 12 seconds left so a 49 yard TD pass isnt out of the ?
@clark17
3 big plays.
Houston Kickoff return for a TD
WVU interception in the endzone
Houston big play out of the INT for a touchdown (14-pt swing) This was the difference in going up 10 vs being down 4.
WVU was the seemingly correct play, but luck is apart of every game and Houston had the better (explosive) breaks.
Houston exploited a defensive weakness as well, that was great game-planning by Holgerson.
WVU not running the ball all game, against a bottom 30 rush defense, was dumb.
Also, WVU QB celebrating for the pentalty and defensive backs who apparently have never been coached to bat down a ball to the ground.
It is what it is. Wild finish.

@jtoler
wv ran the ball 44 times and 2 of the defenders were trying to knock the ball down
Correct, just 2 defenders near the ball. Not batting the ball down, going for a pick. 3rd player even comes in to try and get the pick. At least re-watch the replay before countering something.
Everyone should be back in the endzone with the ball in front of them. Hell, even just your 3 safeties should be in the endzone with everything in front of them. WVU had 1 defender in the endzone, with everyone backpeddling, that is awful defense for that exact type of play.
38 passes to 44 runs...vs a team that ranks 114th in defensive efficiency and is awful at stopping the run.
