What am I missing with West Virginia

OK.. I have seen every Texas Tech Game.. and I know they have no defense when it comes to stopped "Good" Teams..

Oklahoma ran thru them.. and I dont consider the stoping Northwestern State, Texas St and New Mexico to really count...


Meanwhile West Virginia has scored a combined 118 points in two weeks vs Nationally Ranked Teams..

I think Texas Tech is totally outmatched and I could see a

54-20 type game..

 

But with a 4.5 point WV Spread.. What the heck am I missing.. There will be no let down with W. Vir  they want to win the BIG XII in their first season..

 

Help me figure this out.. I just can't see it

Back to back trips to Texas with Kansas State on deck.  It is a trap game.

well after the baylor game the rest of the schedule is basically "on deck" for WV..texas tech is a team that you cant look past so to say that they are looking forward to k st isnt too good of an arguement. Now even if they are looking ahead do you see WV winning? i would say yes...would you say they will win by at least 3 points? i would say yes so grab the points right now before it gets to -7 to kick off time.

I AGREE I ALREADY TOOK IT NOW BECAUSE IT WILL ONLY GO  HIGHER BEST BELIEVE THAT WVU ROLLS BY 14-21 EASY..

Now that FSU is knocked off WV has taken their place of biggest frauds in CFB.  They will be the next big team to lose.

You really think WV will hold Tech's offense to 20? WV is giving up 35 ppg on defense and that includes the J Madison 12 points in there. 

Baylor hung 63 on them. I would consider Tech's offense in the same class as Baylor and Texas. 

WV may well cover the 4.5 but Tech will score more than 20 verses that WV swiss cheese defense. I think the obvious play here is the OVER. Neither Defense will shut down the opposing offense. This game could easily top 100.

Texas Tech is good with these type teams...with no defense and all the pressure on the other team....vs OU last year...When the juice is less than the usual -110 ie WV -105...which in my mind means that VEGAS Thinks TT will cover -4.5!! Im on WV..jumped on it when i saw the low line....Now looking at it...Geno Smith is being declared the Heisman winner, and the mayor (reading between the lines) he said they will win out and they need to prepare!!!

I have WV bet....but i think its going to be the biggest TRAP game for bettors this weekend!!! WV by 3!!!

Definitely disagree with this ^ Of course WVA has a chance to lose they still have to go through some good teams in the big 12...And guess what if they beat K State they wont be fraud like at all. Team with momentum looking at high hopes, they will not lose to TT

Texas Tech's offense isn't in the same league as Baylor or Texas. This game will go under by 3 TD's. I have been big on the over last two WV games. My biggest bet of the week is this game under.

 WV covers the low line,dont be scared,Dana Holgerson,for u who dont know,is a very good coach,they beat texas last week by being outcoached,look they fumbled in end zone and gave texas 7,fumbled on their own 15,2 costly turnovers,yes wv has best qb in league and best set of wr's in league,dana is the best offensive mind in the game,thus down the stretch he will not take his foot of the gas and run out the clock unless,like texas you drop 7-8 defenders then wv last drive,ate clock and scored running every play.D-fence will force couple turnovers and WV will win by 17-24!!!!  Enjoy   Texas Tech come on!!!!

I honestly don't understant any love for Texas Tech. They got expsed last week when they played a good team. Their offense isn't that great and they beat up on D2 schools and new mexico. Their defense isn't that great either as a good OU offense just demolished them. What do you think the best offense in the nation is going to do? Geno will tear them apart and WVU will win easily in this game. Sometimes vegas gives you a gift and this is it. Don't try to be smarter and out think it, just un load on WVU and count the stacks late on Saturday.

I lived in Lubbock for 8 yrears.. and have seen it all.. This years team is not defensive stud-ery...

 

I just cant see TTU going score for score with W. Vir..

Why did they only beat Maryland by 10.  And not cover against Madison and Baylor as well.  I think Vegas has adjusted their lofty opinion of this team.

To top it all off, I'm now seeing 3.5.  So tempting.......what to do?

Situation favors the raiders. this line could be 6.5 and they would still get huge public action on WVU. remember that tecg prob got OU best shot last week ( being a huge revenge game ). I honestly feel the red raiders are a very good team and got a legit shot at the upset seing the mountees are off a huge high with the upset of texas last week. Remember as good as WVU offense is ( prob top 2 or 3 in country) the defense is borderline awful. Good luck on whatever side you fellas do

Based on public perception, the Books are begging for West virginia action seems to me.

i dont always follow Dr Bob, but I hear T.Tech +3 or better is one of his big picks this week.
