TCU has 3 RBs that could play for any Div 1 team, besides a very capable QB that the nation will see maybe for the furst time.
LSU lost the majority of their defense to either the NFL camps or disciplinary reasons. They might have the kileer attitude, but not the personnel, and that might lead to a frustrating night trying to contain TCU.
TCU coaching staff is one of the best there is, and TCU might be the class of the Big 12, esp after this game.

I'm an obviously an LSU fan, so take that with a grain of salt, but I almost feel like your analysis is flip flopped.
Everyone knows who LSU's QB is, it will be Mettenberger the entire game. On the TCU side, it will be interesting to see who it will be. Will Patterson switch to Boykin if Pachall fall behind? Remember, the guy hasn't played a game in almost a year and the best D he faced was Boise. They are no LSU.
If anyone has 3 runningbacks who could start anywhere, it's LSU. Hill won't play, but Blue and Hillard are both capable backs that have spent there fair share of time in the starting role.
Yes, we are young on D, but we are extremely talented. For some reason everyone has this idea that Bama doesn't rebuild, they reload. LSU does the same thing. We played 15 true freshman last year, mainly on D. They are young, but these guys are ready. On the flip, TCU Oline is very shaky. Will be interesting to see if they can handle the size and speed of an SEC D.
I have a hard time agreeing with all of your points, to me you could say the same thing about LSU for all the positives and the same thing about TCU for the negative.
I think it will be a boring game, with LSU pulling away in the 2nd half.
I'm sticking with my initial prediction of LSU 27-14
