I love how you "give" 5 turnovers... I suppose MSU being +15 in the turnover margin was a gift too...

As for Troy... It's called a let down game... Every team has them

Had write-ups for both last week, only 2 i'm already on. Tuberville bailed after my write-up, so now like Minn even more.

Everyone wants to lay big pts with SEC thats up to you, maybe they come thru? Just look at ats record last 2 years of Bowl'ing, hardly automatics. GL everyone

So far it's gotta be LSU-3.5 vs Clemson. Also leaning towards Miss St, KST, Alabama, and Boise.

That doesn't tell us anything... You're missing the point... Your reasons you posted might just be the worst I've ever heard in my life... The 2nd and 3rd games of the year hold no water in this match up... You obviously know nothing about MSU... I don't care who you take... I stated earlier that both teams are capable of winning this game... I'm just going to keep my $100 and spend it in Jacksonville on booze at this game since a crown and coke cost $18

Here's some solid advice for people on here... If there is a bowl match up that really interests you, break down the game in every aspect.  Then find a capper on here who knows a lot about that team.  For example, anything on MSU, ask myself or Ryan1986.

I believe the main reason is SEC. There are not too many matchups on a neutral field that are going to show a Big ten team favored over an SEC team with the years that the respective conferences had. I will agree that the SEC will win a majority of their bowl games, I do believe that Northwestern has a very good shot of winning outright. That being said if I had a choice of what SEC team goes down, I would choose Alabama.

South carolina couldnt put 42 on indiana offensivley they are challenged! Double up for life you got no clue man! South carolina will struggle offensively! Michigan has time to prepare with better offensive weapons! Yeah sc defense is great but michigans aint bad either! And dont put the sec bullshit in here bc that means nothing! Michigan will not be blown out doubke sorry man but 42-20. Makes you look stupid!

It's funny to me that everyone on here says that Alabama is awesome and is gonna kill N.D. and that LSU is a beast of a team and will steamroll Clemson and that Texas A&M is the hottest team in the county and will beat Oklahoma and Ole Miss is the most improved team in the SEC and just got better and better during the season and will take care of Pitt easily (and I do believe all of this too by the way)  BUT Miss. St is trash because they lost 4 or their last 5 games. Do they realize their 4 losses were to the 4 teams I just mentioned??    Unless you think Northwestern is on par with these 4 teams, I would be very careful betting against Miss. St.

Most of my plays are gonna be on SEC teams.

1) Vandy -6.5.  Love the dores here.  Obviously a homer but i'll take an 8-4 sec team on a 6 game winning streak against a 7-5 acc team with no coach giving less than a touchdown.  Also, the game will basically be a home game for vandy with it being two miles from campus.

2) Ole miss -3.5.  SEC team in its first bowl in a couple years against a team from the big east.  Games also played in birmingham.  Stadium should be packed with ole miss fans.

3) Northwestern +2.  Sorry Corley but I agree with bandit here (although not because of his logic).  Miss state is coming in reeling. They were never as good as their record or rank indicated before the alabama game.  Their wins were jackson state, auburn, troy, south alabama, tennessee, kentucky, mtsu, and arkansas. I'll take the 9-3 big 10 team with no bad losses and an overall very solid squad.  The 2 points are just gravy.  I see the wildcats getting their first bowl win in jacksonville.

Whether you agree or disagree, BOL and let's hope bowl season showers us all with some much needed holiday green!

What do you think aout the total of 51.5 Corley? Im going to the game and not a fan of either team so im going to want some action on the game.

MSU definitely didn't have any bad losses (although 14 to Ole Miss, a team that wouldn't have been bowl eligible, is not great.  Rivalry game against a team fighting for bowl eligibility in Oxford tho so not bad).  Despite who the losses came to, I would still say they are slumping, losing 4 of their last 5.  I think a big reason I like NU is that they beat Vandy relatively badly (although Vandy was playing a lot worse than they are now), who beat Ole Miss in Oxford, who beat MSU by 14.  Not the best logic but I just like the pick.  Also, I wish Vandy were playing in the Gator so I might be a bit biased.  Regardless, I won't be too upset if MSU crushes NU.  I'll root for any SEC team other than the vols.

I stand by my reasoning. MSU has issues, they are overrated. I believe Nwstrn is the better team in this game.  You can break down a game all you want, but sometimes it is the intangibles that can decide a game.  I follow college FB, and especially the B-10.   I also believe NW is also better coached. No need to get all defensive, just because I gave my OPINION that MSU jsut isn't that good. All you did, was come in my thread and attack. You offered NOTHING of value, no credible counter opinion, no picks. Kind of what we are here for, not to be obnoxious jerks. Np, I can take it, just how a little class in the future. If you disagree, that is okay, just explain why, you don't have to attack someone elses take on a game. Relax. Chill. It is JMO.  Didn't mean to hurt your little feelings on your team.   Bol on all your bets.

You may know a lot about Northwestern but you obviously don't know much at all about Miss. State.
