Bowl: Rose Bowl
 
Player: USC long snapper
 
Play: Clutch 4th quarter punt snap to "ice" the game for USC with under a minute to go!

Kick return team almost gave the game away but man that UCONN run attack killed, esp. in the 2H.

This was really the "spread heart attack" of the bowl season.

Sanchez, USC receivers, USC D = cash

USC D with PSU at 14 yd line and 1st down gave up only 7 yds. and a pick in the endzone.

Hakeem Nicks NC reciever   8 catches  3 TDS  217 yards
 
 
 
His other td was pretty solid, The stats where great buts the shear ability of the plays was impressive

He'd never get it... he'd split votes with Kentucky punter Tim Masthay who punted Kentucky back into the ECU game as well.

The 2:00 minute drives by Miami at the end of the game to try and win  ( Don't think I've ever seen worse in 28+ years)
