Until the Economics change (Like the ACC just giving the Irish ALL their TV money), good luck. ND makes a minimum 4 or 5 fold what anyone else makes from TV...and that's BEFORE you count the the NBC money.
Not gonna happen.

This is due to that 5 year scheduling quirk where every team gets the extra bye so plenty of byes to go around and imagining if teams have a say they all said first choice is vs ND since I guess they'd be of of the, if not the, first name on their schedules.
The interesting part to me is where exactly are we seeing anyone point out this (first of its kind?) scheduling anomaly?... ESPN, CBS, or any of them mentioning this idk I haven't heard it, I only picked up on it in my schedule / spot analysis ... I see ESPN FPI ranking ND at 7, Steele Mag's 'where they'll end up' w ND at #9 and SoS rankings saying they have ~50th toughest schedule which is just a smidge easier than the prior year SoS 'look back' rankings... TR shows ND is 13-8 ATS since 2011 with a rest disadvantage.. 62% so vegas looking pretty well positioned to clean up on a few 'guaranteed can't miss 401k cash out lock of the century' lines they'll be throwing out on them..
Besides ND here's a few other team opponent schedules you might want to check before you go LARGE this year... UGA, Wisco, Tenn, Iowa, Penn St, Nevada, Mid-T, ECU..
Interesting tid bit is Arkey St had 4 opponent bye weeks scheduled against them last year and only one of their own (net -3 byes) and actually survived pretty well albeit 6-6 ATS on the year but not the monster year we were thinking with Hansen would deliver by any means .... they have 3 opponent only byes against this year but have two of their own so net negative rest days much lower for them and I think having the experience from LY could only be helpful ... most other teams getting the opponent bye treatment this year either had same week byes against LY... and just to add to ND's schedule insanity, they had no byes against LY just their own...... +1 bye to -7 byes is only an extra 56 days for your opponents to get healthy and scheme against you NBD, lol.
Good luck all!

I guess having that bye week heading into Michigan was a waste.
Looks like the Hookies have a decent shot at taking down ND today and RSW under tickets cash.
If the Irish lose, I can't wait to see if they stay in the top 25, not that it matters, but wouldn't surprise me.
