@DoubleUp4Life
Right back at you, man. I see you're hanging over in that shady NFL part of town. I hope you kill it this year, though, and the Bills get you a title.

I have a bankroll that i use just to follow covers cappers and I am looking to add few ncaaf cappers to my covers portfolio.
Just a thought, but rather than trying to wade through the hundreds of new threads started here every day just to find out who are winners, consider looking at the top leaders in the King of Covers Contest page in each sport. Fully documented by Covers! One page! Take you all of 10 seconds or less to view the info you (and many others) are seeking! And MOST of the guys on those leaderboards don't actually post in these forums so you can't get their picks in here. But you can see them "pending" at King of Covers contest! Quite a few dudes there are hitting over 60% so far this year (not me) and you can click on their names and see how they did in previous years to see if they are consistent. It's much more thorough and accurate.
Personally I do my own thing. So far not great. 0-1 -2.45 units when I took Nebraska to beat Illinois
Good luck

Hey Longhorn, he just wanted some info. Not out of the question for someone that would like to know who are the arrogant aholes that talk trash and consistently lose. Know anyone like that?

Oh but it means so much to say you've been around a gambling website for 14 years. He's so very special. He's better than you, better than all of us because, well 14 years. He's a god.

Do any of you guys like write ups?
Or do you just want to see people's picks without knowing their reasoning?
Good Q.
Looking at it objectively, I would have to say from my POV
there is very little if any value in just seeing someone's picks
listed --> *UNLESS* that particular guy is a strong capper
with a year over year winning record.
For example, I posted 10 - 4 last weekend (my first)
But fair warning: DON'T TAIL ME because of a lucky start.
Two solid reasons.
1/ small sample size. The degree of mathematical "confidence"
in any percentage based on just 14 picks is incredible weak.
DON'T trust it! Higher volume = stronger confidence.
2/ I don't have a year over year posted winning record.
In fact, in the past, when I lept out to something like 24 - 10 over
the first two weeks I then posted 2 - 13 the next week and 7 - 9
the next. Anyone tailing me because I started 24 -10 would have lost
their entire bankroll the following 2 weeks! High volume of picks
(can be spread over many weeks) = stronger confidence!
Wait until it reaches that point.
In a discussion forum like this of course members want to read
some logical rationale that supports the pick. Then at the very least
we can believe one has put some thought into it (handicapping)
rather than posting a pick on "gut feel" or cheerleading for
his own team.
As others have pointed out, writeups even if brief, can oftentimes
give us a heads up on a game we overlooked, OR provide some
meaningful intel we missed in our own handicapping.
Also, because all of us can't be glued to the internet 24/7 it's
especially appreciated, I am sure by all, when a member posts "late
breaking updates" about injuries/suspensions/covid-absences, etc
or the major vegas line moves that usually preceed that public knowledge.
I can't remember the number of times a member posted info about
last minute lineup changes in MLB that saved me several hundred $$.
However, with writeups, just be prepared for feedback, which may
not always agree with your method of handicapping. Lurking here
for years I can say that most are gentlemen, even when they disagree.
Good luck this season.

WOW, this just gets more entertaining by the minute. May I suggest a bit of opiods to take the nastiness off. We are all here for one reason..... TO WIN $$$$. I am a lurker, can't handicap to save my ass. And as my dad said "a smart man knows what he doesn't know".
I appreciate all of you who do post. I especially like DOUBLEUP as he appears to be just a good dude who wants to share. Bookie Assassin, Gucci, Thor and Step on a duck are good basic cappers. Stay here a while and you will figure out who the good and bad are.

Makes perfect sense. One stop shopping for winning records and documented over years.

Great to see so many amazing Covers Brothers on one thread. I know most of you "Covers Classics" don't know me I read for years before I even joined and even then didn't post much at the beginning. I appreciate you guys that spread the real knowledge, have learned a lot.
Iamhuge I hate to say it but I think 90+% of people on here these days just want the picks, that's what it feels like but I think there is a group of solid people that still come here for the knowledge. I do!! Thanks to those that still help provide it. Best of luck and cool google docs sheet.

Some of the best cappers have come and gone but there are a good number of class acts who turn out winners imho.
Here are 10 class acts who win ;
Undermysac, Train, ESB, Wizerguy, Vanzack, Double Up, 2 Legit, Mr. Bator, Thor, CM Johnson and others mentioned in the thread.
We all come at this with different bankrolls, knowledge bases and reasons for wagering...for instance, some bet to earn a living, some for supplemental income, some to try out a 'system', so bol to all

No one here wins money. No one, but that’s ok, it gets harder and harder each year, in each sport. A lot of loudmouths here, including me at times. A lot of guys say they win money, but again they don’t. It’s amazing how a game can be capped so much one way by one guy and another caps it completely different. The guys who make money, are not here on covers, they are too busy with all this Tom foolery.

@VeryBlueJay
This site has many jerks so posting is mostly a losing prop, We bought the supposed best capper on here in 2019 B.A. and it was a disaster at 45-46%. Money was not an object so we figured we would give it a shot. The big mouths on here are just that. I never post either but taking asshole shots for a question from some loser is what they are all about.
