Actually as a CU homer this is not entirely correct. The first 6 games of the year we never had the same starting 5 on o-line for a single game and they are very young. After Tommy Bowden and Rob Spence (o-coordinator) was let go, the O-line went back to a 3 point stance they actually started to gel. They were also healthy. You will see if you look back that is where most people think the firing of Tommy Bowden turned our season around, however to me it was the health and cohesiveness of the o-line. All that being said I wont be betting this game for obvious reasons, but if I were I would probably be on Nebraska. Dont let our secondary fool you with the numbers, we havent really played a team that is going to throw it all over the field. If this game gets in to the mid to upper 20's my Tigers will lose. BOL everyone on what you play, hopefully this helps someone.

Huskers - lost to Va tech..should have beaten them, and I believe they would take the Hokies if they played right now (I am from NE, and currently live in Va, so I feel I have a pretty good feel for Tech).  Got destroyed playing MIzzou...coaches monkeyed around with a hybrid D and basically said it was their fault (NU does not have the athletes to do that).  They fundamentally changed the play calling on offense and Defense after the Mizzou game..they opened it up and went to a spread type offense...less 2 TE heavy sets.  Huskers outplayed Texas Tech, but lost in OT in Lubbock....got behind the Sooners 28-0 in the first 4:45 of the 1st quarter and basically played them even after that...huskers have evolved well this year...HC Pelini has them playing hard and with effort...the front 4 of the D is the strength of the team imo...they are very good and very tough to run against.  The secondary needs some help...no doubt there...way too many mental busts that allow huge pass plays.  The Huskers offense will easily be the best Clemson has seen this year...balanced, can run, can throw, 2nd in the nation in TOP per game.  I do think the Clemson D line will give the O line of NU some issues...the Husker O line is good, but certainly not great....if Huskers cannot keep them off Ganz, it will be tough....this game comes down to turnovers imo...if Ganz throws some picks because of the pressure, or because of the Safety from Clemson (kid is a stud), it will be difficult to win...if the turnover battle is about equal, I will take the better Husker D line and the better Husker Offense to pull out the win...there is no way clemson keeps up scoring with the huskers if the points start flying out there...the only chance clemson has to win imo is a 21-10 type game...but the Huskers have not been held under 30 points but 2 times this year (va tech being one of them...NU scored 30 there)

Put it this way; everyone is hammering Nebraska today.  If the line doesn't move, take Clemson.  If it does move, go in the direction of the move.

MR DAVIS @ SPILLER ARE TWO OF THE BEST BACKS IN THE COUNTRY, JUST LUCKY DABO HAS TAKEN THE RREIGNS FROM THAT SUCKASS COACH BOWDEN. THES TWO GUYS COULD HAVE A PROLITHIC CAREER IN THE NFL.

NEBRASKA D has started to get it together, yes they give up alot through the air but the can stop the run.  With Clem weak line givin up sack after sack, it could be closer then you think. GANZ will probably come out tight throwin a couple picks but when he calms down, it's over, he realy wants this one, then the run kicks in, maybe I'm alittle bias but I think NEBRASKA gets to the QB alot today, look up the stats, HUSKERS have 30 sacks on the year, clem line is weak.  Hope it doesn't come down to a 57 yd. fg again cuz I can't take another one of those, just now getting my voice back from that one.   NEB  38    Clem  24    GO BIG RED!!     GL ALL!!!!

FWIW I took the over in this game a couple of day's ago. I live a few miles from the stadium and were having wind gusts up to 26 mph now. They are calling for 15 to 25 mph with higher gusts through the game.
