Lincoln Riley vs Nick Saban...Been a fun Season...one of the greatest coaches ..probably in the career of NCAAF...everything comes down to a hungry bunch of young kids..all on the Line ..should be a good one tune in...

I agree, OU is not getting much respect. Most of the talk of the difference between these two teams is the defense. OU defense has been shakey this year I guess the best way to put it. I think they can hang in there in this game and any game with good enough D line play. Murray is about as good as they come. Formula to beat Bama is typically outstanding QB play and/or a dual threat QB. Bama speed on the edge this year is not as good as the previous two years. I hope they are ready for a long night.

This is about as exciting of a game as they get. Two huge historic programs, 2 heisman front-runners going toe to toe, offense offense offense. 

My problem with your post is the cupcake schedule. Cannot stress how tired I am hearing this every year. We schedule 3 "cupcakes" every year as opposed to most other teams 1 or 2 and automatically deemed cupcake schedule. Could we compare apples to apples on this years schedule?
OU - FAU and Army
Bama - Arky State, ULL, Citadel

How about the rest of the schedule?
Quality games in my eyes
OU - Iowa ST, Texas, WVU, and then Texas again
Bama - Texas AM, Mizzou, Miss St, and finally Georgia

I just want you to elaborate more on our cupcake schedule compared to the high and mighty Oklahoma schedule this year.

I wouldn't want to discuss it either if I were you. Google all you want, listen to the media, read all you want on the internet. I will keep watching the games and make my own judgement on each team worth a flip.
If you want to sit there and say Oklahoma schedule was night and day harder than Alabama's this year and it makes you feel better about your team then so be it. I should be used to it by now, I hear it almost every year. Expose us like Notre Dame did in 2012, and Clemson did the last 3 years. Expose us like Texas did in 09 with the same exact debate of Texas has too much offense for Alabama to handle.

Schedule has meant very little to me since Ohio St beat Alabama and won the NC a few years ago. tOSU had one of the easiest schedules that season than I've ever seen from a national champion...

here we go with the schedule crap again. Absolutely hated for being so good. But what really bothers me is that these games are scheduled years in advance. Which in reality is not the universities fault at all. I mean not to sound like we are unstoppable, but NO ONE can play with Bama except for Georgia. Georgia is the second best team in the world and they have proven that back to back years. I am a die hard bama fan and whether you guys think that alters my decision making, i would bet anything that is in my name that BAMA does not lose this matchup. kyler murray is no god and its going to show as soon as this game starts. no kyler murray will not be shut out but i guarantee our defense gets him out of his comfort zone for most of this game. Kyler has not seen a Bama D this stout.

Now, there definitely will be some walk-up appeal to Alabama-Oklahoma. In quarterbacks Tua Tagovailoa and Kyler Murray, you are likely to have a matchup of the Heisman Trophy winner and Heisman runner-up. In Saban and Lincoln Riley, you have the grand master of defensive football and the ascendant genius of offensive football. The Sooners have the nation’s No. 1 offense, and Alabama is second to them nationally in yards per play (Oklahoma averages 8.75, the Tide averages 7.92).

But unless Oklahoma intends to win a game in which both teams score on every possession, the Sooners will have to stop ‘Bama at some point in time. A defense that ranks 108th nationally in yards allowed per game (448.1), 102nd in yards allowed per play (6.03) and 96th in points allowed per game (32.4) will now be facing the best offense it has seen all season. And the best defense.

Oklahoma is a one-dimensional team.

Wizz, the article called OU a one dimensional team. I will only say this, true, OU offense is a thing to behold. You say give OU defense a month to prepare. I will counter with if you give Saban a month to prepare the outcome is usually not what an opponent would like to see. While 14 is a lot of points, a month with one the greatest coach's ever to scheme is worrisome is it not. 
You have been a true fan. I will say this will be a very interesting game to watch. I wish you well.

I am only a Fan of  not a OU Fan not a Bama fan..just be on right side of money..Saban is great...but this year in my opinion he falls short..I never bet with my heart only ..lets just see...I think OU will shock the world...Upset, Upset, Upset!!!!

You say no one can hang with bama? Mississippi STATE hung with bama. MISSISSIPPI STATE. And they have no offense. Bama finally plays a complete team and only wins because Saban was forced to put Jalen in. Alabama hasn't faced an offense remotely close to OU's this year so that will be fun to watch. I suspect bama will squeak by the Sooners. But I don't think they will be so lucky against ND.
