Why aren't more people biting at Notre Dame +32.5??????

I saw the line open at 30 on my site (bodog) and now its up even more to +32.5. I can't help but go with ND here with this kind of line.
 
Here's what i know. ND has been in the news EVERY DAY this week with Weis' contract buyout speculation. His a** is on the line here. Just like the Eagles tonight, if they came out and lost by 20 to the Cardinals at home, Reid is gone and so is McNabb. Well the pitiful Eagles, who TIED the lowly Bengals, and got trounced by the Ravens and a first year QB, spanked the league MVP and and playoff bound Cards.
 
ND just lost to a HORRIFIC syracuse team with no coach AT HOME. The embarrassment of such a loss still has to resonate in all the players minds
 
Based on these two points i cant see ND losing by 35/40 here regardless of the BCS situation for USC (the only motivation to roll up the points on USC's part).
 
Im LOVING ND here but haven't bet yet. This may be the biggest line ND has EVER gotten (but dont quote me on that)
 
All I ask is, should i go with it or am i getting suckered into the monstorous line?  Thanks for your insights in advance

I won with TX tonight and was planning on betting all the other potential BCS champion schools needing the style points: AL, OU, TT, FL, & USC.
But when I got to the USC line I couldn't pull the trigger I think ND can keep it close. USC has an awesome defense but their offense at times has been so-so. I'm Thinking ND here also.

I went to ND yet think they lose by 42+ .  The loss last week was devastating, they have nothing left for this game.  Once they get down early it will steamroll.  They couldn't even run the ball on Cuse the O-line is so bad.  USC will absolutely maul them.

I don't think ND even scores. As one-sided as it's been lately, it's still a rivalry game, and that will jack up SC even more.
Throw in the fact that Clausen didn't want to play at SC.......
The thing about Weis' contract should be a distraction imho.....
I mean, it's not like this game would save his job. Losing at home to Syracuse as a 3td fave with a fired coach should have been the final nail..........
SC still needs "style points", and will not let up on the gas pedal...

2-1 USC...that's the one way this covers...ND doesnt score...

Also WR Michael Floyd is out and he was a huge part of the offense.  Now Golden Tate is the only threat, and Carroll knows it. Claussen has really been forcing the ball lately, look for a couple pick-sixes.

ND has showed me nothing all year. The Michigan win wasn't all that big time after watching the rest of their season play out and they just got rolled up by on Senior Day by Robinsons boys. 
 
The ONLY argument I could even make to take ND would be that they are putting up somewhere around 25 points at home and even with Swiss Cheese D they should be able to cover that high spread number. Problem here is its the Trojans and they'll STRUGGLE to get 10.

Don't be surprised if SC wins by 31 (see 02', 03' and 04')
 
Seriously, there's only one thing I always know with SC.  They will be the better team, by A LOT, in the 2nd half.  If it's close at halftime, hammer the 2nd half

I don't understand why public isn't going on ND either.
I know ND got whooped last year by USC 38-0 at home, but last year ND had an entirely unproven team especially with an unproven QB in Clausen. ND has come out this year a different team than last year, despite off field rumors of Weis being on the hot seat, I see this game being close, and ND +32.5 is my lock of the week, mark my words Gents!

More people aren't on ND because they are going to get demolished that's why.  ND has to play at the coliseum on a saturday night with a national audience.  Did anyone watch their game with Syracuse?  Look for this one to get very ugly, very early for the Irish.

i did...

now i have to decide on whether it's worth middling at 32.5 or higher... personally, i think USC wins something like 45-10... although 52-3 isn't out of the question... ND is disgustingly awful!

Oh and the reason the line is sitting at 32 now is because of my post earlier in the week and my huge wager when the line opened at 27.5

so far the vote is 10-2 USC will cover 32.5 (based on the way i read your posts)...this is not encouraging (although i haven't bet the game yet and may go the other way)...maybe you guys are "the public" and now i should fade the responses in this post...but if that's the case, who are 'sharps' in the betting world? keep the responses coming
