Of course I'm once again on the wrong side of that kind of garbage. 3rd time this season a team has went for 2 where it makes no sense and cost me the cover.

I am not saying this because it just happened, in 15 years of gambling that literally is the worst bad beat I have ever had, up 22 with 9 mins to go all still good till the 2 pt conversion, just brutal

Same reason Clemson throws bombs up 35 and go for it on 4th and goal when they are up by 31.

the new analytics and math tell you to go for 2... vanzack had a thread about this and most coaches are now adopting this method... tough tough beat for memphis -6.5 backers...

I had SMU +6.  Had a brutal day I was happy too see them take the 2 pt conversion, really needed that to push wish I had the 6.5.  I feel for you guys tho

To all you fools who grovel about stuff like this....stop gambling on things in which you have absolutely no control over the outcome...unless you are willing to accept whatever the outcome might be.  You could have chosen to bet the other side of the wager, and you elected not to.  

$hit happens...so deal with it.  #STFU

I had ML 2nd HALF so aside the fact of knowing I basically couldn't lose. This made ABSOLUTELY no sense in regards to many things. #1 being you're on the road. You're not at home. You're down by 14 not 15. #2 you know you need to score again to even have a shot so taking the chance on that 2 PT was FOOLISH. Although it worked out, there is no (0%) logic to going for 2 at that time in the game on the road in that position. I've been doing this for 20+ years and no newbie to bad beats, but this is very SUSPICIOUS

Going for two if you recovered the onside kick and scored makes sense. If he misses there the game is over. You need to extend the game as long as possible. It is idiotic what they did.

 And if you look at the last touchdown play...all they had to do is motion one guy to the right and then switch directions the last second to fool the defense for easy touchdown....they did the exact same thing again on the 2 point conversion....was too easy

I don’t think you understand the situation BWS and are are trying to explain...had they missed the 2 point conversion not all hope was lost because they still would have been down 8. They still would have had a chance to go to OT only being down 8 if they recovered the onside.

They went for 2 to try and get the win if they onside and recover. They went for 2 early because they had all the momentum with the play calls...all they did was fool the defense one way and they bit and was an easy touchdown...SMU realized these idiots feel for the motion so let’s do the same thing again and they feel for it AGAIN win a linemen getting an easy walk in conversion. It was perfect situational calls by SMU except they couldn’t recover the onside kick

I completely understand what you're saying but I think there's more logic in kicking the extra and then worrying about winning when you know you have the chance. By chancing the 2 pts at that time in the game you are taking out a major probability to even have a chance to win. Why would you risk having to even make a 2nd 2 PT conversion when you could've had a more porbable chance to win by kicking the extra and then worrying about the 2 pt after. I was a Math major throughout school / college and have been betting since 16...You have no LOGIC here
