WHY IS EVERYONE ON AUBURN?

HAS ANYONE STEPPED BACK TO EVEN ASK "WHY IS AUBURN THE DOG IF THE SEC IS THE PREMIER CONFERENCE AND THE BIG EAST SUCKS?"

That's the reasoning around these parts, sir.

SEC > Big East

Auburn = SEC, West Va = Big East

Therefore, Auburn > West Va

That's about as caveman reasoning as you will find and normally the formula for a huge flop. If you ask me, more people need to look at what Mr. Linesmaker is telling them--that West Va is favored for a reason: because they're the better team.

No spread is based on one conference being better than another.  They're based on one team lining up against another.  Not sure why this even needs to be explained.  SOS is factored into handicap analysis and hard to say if it has much of a role if any based on how these two teams have performed YTD.  Debating SEC being better than BE or vice versa has no bearing whatsoever on current line or movement.

I live in Alabama and trust me Auburn has problems bigger than the ones you see on the field.  There has been dissention down there for some time. Their offensive playbook is decimated due to Franklins departure although it never really took off otherwise.  Auburn's biggest problem tonight will be dealing with the speed of WVU.  The SEC has speed but the offensive gameplans in the conference are a bit different.  Watching Auburn play this year I would have to take the Mountaineers.

Here is my only reason " Just open the Main---home page from covers.com" If it shown that team - go ahead bet on it" more likely it will be the right one to bet on. 80% hit...in three games in the roll. After three games, bet on anather team.
Guys, I had note in last few days. Last Monday night --It shown - NE (Matt Cassell & Oline) and resulted New England won the MNF game.
Last Tuesday night--It shown- QB of Temple University -Mentioned about his being Qs for starting. Resulted "Temple won that game"
 
Tonight - When I opened Cover -Home page college --It shown the Aubur's Caoch "Turnervilles"..I assumed " Auburn is the play here" despite that I dislike the team.

WV should take the game tonight.  Auburn is struggling on offense with no offensive coordinator.  Auburns defense is great but if the offense cant move the ball and score points the defense will play the entire game.  I look for Auburns defense to get worn down towards the end of the 3rd.  WV by two FG's or a touchdown.

I'll tell you why I'm on Auburn.  West Virginia has not looked very good recently at home against far inferior teams recently.  They haven't played the schedule that Auburn has either. 
 
Auburn has lost 3 of 4 to Vanderbilt, LSU, and Arkansas (also beat Tennessee) by a combined total of 9 points which means their defense will keep it close. 
 
West Virginia has played three home games in a row against Syracuse, Rutgers, and Marshall.  Not nearly the same kind of competition and West Virginia was only able to put between 17-27 points against those teams.  Pat White was only out for one of those games and even if he's back at 100%, scoring 24 points against Rutgers and 27 against Marshall isn't too impressive.
 
The game will be a very low scoring affair with both offenses stalling constantly due to good defensive efforts for both teams.  WV may win but it will be within a couple points.  Personally, I think Auburn can take it which is why I'm taking the points.

Odds should really be even.. WV gets the points and is favorite simply becase of home field advantage...
If they where playing @ Auburn, I can almost bet that WV would not be the favorite...

First initial reaction when I saw this matchup was Auburn getting points, SEC against any weaker conference is money but the more I look at it, the more I'm leaning towards W. Virginia.  Yes Auburn has the better D and is planning to go back to their bread and butter which is running the ball and their D should be able to keep them in game.  But with a healthy Pat White, W. Virginia has a better chance to pull out some big plays and get into good field positions.  If this one goes down to field position, I gotta go with W. Virginia because the Mounaineers have a more reliable kicker.

Yummy, I love the way crow tastes!  Jesus Auburn looked bad in the second half.  Nice job to those West Virginia backers.  I guess when your team is built on defense and you give up almost 300 yards on the ground, you're gonna get embarassed.
