Win with class, lose with class

Coaches need to get a handle on this flag planting bullshit, after a team wins on a rival's home field! Don't poke the bear! And don't anybody say it's part of the game. It has NOTHING to do with the game. Rubbing salt in an open wound is never a good idea.

I love Ohio St & was cheering for them to win but they had 4 quarters to fight & they lost, go the locker room while the winning team celebrates 

we all have different perspectives but I’m fine with the flag planting, if you want to stop it then beat them in the game

 I always try to avoid sounding like a homer. Every game we play scares the hell out of me. The line has dropped to -4, which is where it closed when the teams met in Vegas. Jeanty seems to wear on defenses in the second half of games, kinda like Emmitt Smith used to do in Dallas. In the fourth quarter of the earlier matchup, BSU ran off the last eight plus minutes of the game by winning the line of scrimmage. Could be more of the same Friday.

And I'm all for celebrating a win, but what happened yesterday in four different instances was dangerous. When pepper spray has to be used that's when things have gone too far. Thanks for stopping by brother!

Blame over rated degenerate Baker Mayfield for this behavior...for his flag plant at OSU (he got hurt today...Karma)  or HOF dipshit Tyrell Owens when he was with SF and ran to the Star...It's just stupid...This is not part of the game, and its not part of the ancillary aspects of the game...Its not for the fans...Sure, celebrate, high five, jump up and down...But, have some class...Almost everyone on that OSU v Michigan field sparing walk ons has a NIL, by design, for recruiting purposes, whether its a true market valued NIL or not.  Therefore, they are quasi professionals...That's shit would not go on in the NFL, nor should it go on at the college level...These so called student athletes represent there respective schools, with the uniform that they wear...The President's of the Power 4 member schools and their affiliated conferences need to dictate to their athletic staff's and players that this shit will not be tolerated.   If you disrespect your opponent after a game, you will be expelled and the conferences will fine your school a $1M fine...Then this stupidity will stop...

yeah that stuff ain't happening. they treat these guys like big giant babies.

I see both sides of the coin though, coaches do need to have a handle on it so it doesn’t spiral out of control. In that vein, props to Farmageddon & Sark.

It's actually all BS. You won the game on the field, that's all that needs to be. Look at the scoreboard, you came in and won as a 19.5 point underdog. The scoreboard say's it all, no reason to think you can come in and plant your flag on there home field. It's all BS.  You won because OSU has a coach that puckers up every time the game gets close. However, he doesn't realize by being so conversative, he ends up costing his team a win. If he would have thrown the ball and used up temp to the best group of WR's in the country, just like they did before the half, OSU would have won by 30 or more. Scum couldn't stop the passing game. Instead, Day wants to run 2 out of every 3 plays right into the only strength of the Michigan defense is their front 4. It was truly mind blowing to me. I swear Day must of had Michigan on the ML.  He truly needs to go.

 learn how to lose? Under no circumstance is a team coming in to my barn and planting a flag after a win. do it and there will be a fight. any team who just takes it is soft.

Agree with you Boise. It’s rubbing salt in the wound of an extremely disappointing loss. Common sense would tell you the other team won’t be emotionally prepared to deal with it.

Home Team should be able to sing to the fans in peace before leaving the field. Visiting Team can wait 2 minutes to party. Never take your helmet off in a brawl. Dance on a Teams logo, you will be fined. 

How about drunk 18 year olds rushing the field engulfing the players and their safety….especially in hoops. 

Back in the day you only stormed the field if you upset the #1 Team in the country!  I’m all for the party, I’ve rushed some fields and the kids need to release some energy and have some fun…..but someone is going to get hurt or assaulted. The pepper spray was a bad look Ohio. 

I saw a Michigan Coach participating in the melee…talking a lot of shit to the Buckeyes Fans.  Coaches need to act like they’ve been there before and show some maturity.  “We’re gonna plant our flag on their field!” Could be a rallying cry as I saw it in 4 different games Saturday.  
Coach Day as well….wth.  He was just standing there watching! Through here say, I guess he did the same thing in the tunnel to the locker rooms. Cmon man! Break it up, pull your boys back, do something.

If Boise beats UNLV Friday night, it's very likely fans will be allowed on the field, but only after the UNLV players have left for the showers. That's the way it should be.

Well he didn't stop it at michigan, but pretty quick and harmless...I'm fine with it,we are talking about 18-22 year Olds for the most part,I did way too much stupid shit at that age unfortunately 

You show me if and or when OSU has ever done this to someone else's field. I don't remember ever seeing this, but I'm not saying they haven't. Show me, thanks I'll hang up and listen. 

Just being a devils advocate because I thought that way as you when I was young but you can end up looking stupid which is weak in itself. I think its done now and yes the players had a right to be emotional.

Sometimes we need to just move on from an overly emotional scene and not let it drag around.....
