Hey guys,End of the year is fast approaching, which means, from &#xD;&#xA;an editorial standpoint, it&#x27;s time to review the worst beats of the &#xD;&#xA;season. We&#x27;re going to be putting together a story on it in the next week or so and we&#x27;d love to get some suggestions.We know bad beats can be hard to forget. Well now you get to put those shitty memories to good use. Let&#x27;s keep this thread going and see if your game gets picked as the worst beat of 2011.

Toledo @ Syracuse with the blown call on the extra point and Utah @ USC and the conference adjusting the score two hours after the game was over. I was on the losing end of both of those.

Georgia Tech @ NC State....Georgia Tech was winning 45-21 with less than a minute left. NC State scores a garbage time touchdown with :34 seconds. Ensuing kick off, Georgia Tech fumbles and NC State scoops and scores to put the game at 45-35. NC State gets one of the worst back door moose's I have ever been apart of.

11/26/11&#xD;&#xA;Maryland at N.C. State&#xD;&#xA;I&#x27;ve got Maryland &#x2B;13, and they&#x27;re leading by 27 in the third quarter.  And N.C. State comes all the way back, topping it off with a pick 6 with less than a minute to play to blow my cover.  It was like a kick in the nuts.

GA Tech vs. Va Tech, late in the 4th qtr Ga Tech sacks Va Tech's qb for a loss on 3rd and long, but the idiot lineman thros a punch giving VT a first down and ultimately leading to a touchdown to lose the game. I had GT money line.

MSU Spartans ML vs Wisconsin...the bullshit roughing the punter call with less than two minutes left to negate a punt return down to the 4 yard line and give UW the first down and win.

For me it was EASILY Michigan vs Notre Dame...i had Notre Dame on money line with 2 sides of 3 game par,3 sides 4 game par won and i had a lot on Notre Dame straight.I USUALLY dont get too upset,but i nearly threw the Tv out the window...it was about a 3 dime swing which is a lot for me.I was so mad I didnt watch another game until the next SAT when the Irish payed me pretty good vs Mich.St...

Tx a&amp;M vs Kansas St...A&amp;M is driving in KST Redzone...the QB txam Fumbles...i believe kst wins in overtime but I had a&amp;m and it was a bad loss.I still cant believe Sherman goes from NCAAF coach of the year to unemployed.Auburn,bammers,LSU and Ark are looking fwd to beating up on Texas am who really did Slocomb wrong .We are looking fwd to recriuting some of those Texas boys.I just dont know why a&amp;M doesnt win more with the great facilities.I thought Franchione was gonna be a star coach...what a bust ! I saw the entire 2nd half of ark/txam and it was like the Aggies were in slow motion.Thats when u play hard when ur up 3 td s and have fun.Sherman needs to be gone.

Georgia Tech -11 vs NCSt. GT up 17 w/ less than :30 left in game.

GT w/ ball. QB run an option with less than :30 left up by 17. Fumble, NC St picks up the ball, and runs it back for a defensive TD.

I posted this in the NFL bad beats Post by accident, so i'll vent here again.

The Gtech-NC State game was a horrendous bad beat. GT - 11, they're up 24 w/ a min left. Nc st scores, GT still up 17 and they recover the onside kick w 39 seconds left. Game should be over right? NOO. stupid Paul Johnson calls for a run play instead of the victory formation and fumble occurs. NCST runs it back....

oh, and the USC - Stanford game was brutal, too. in OT, on USC getting 7.5, and of course Stanford wins on a TD & 2pt conversion ....ARGH

Warcameagle, I wouldn&#x27;t necessarily classify the Texas A&amp;M-Kansas State outcome as a bad beat but, trust me, I feel your pain. It was by far one of my most crushing defeats of the season for various reasons. If you backed the Aggies in that one, the pain was everywhere. Up 14-0 and driving for a score that might put it away ... an interception that changes the momentum. On 4th and goal from 6-inch line up 7 late, they kick a field goal. They do the same in overtime. Not to mention that one defensive stop in the 4th quarter would have sealed the game. I wouldn&#x27;t have been opposed to seeing Sherman fired by the time he made it back to the locker room. I finally got smart and took the Longhorns &#x2B;8 against them on Thanksgiving, but the K. State loss was a stinger.

I had my cocks &amp; -3 for a nickel...cocks get the ball back on like their own 20.  they go backwards as time is expiring and the score is SC14-10 and then on 4th and long inside the 6 or 7 yard line....i thought conner shaw would just run around for a few seconds and slide down in bounds to run the clock out  Instead spurrier had him runaround for a couple secs and take the safety to secure the win and FUCK THE SPREADthat really hurt.-chef

Also...ist half cover of Oregon over UCLA....that had it wrapped up with less then a min left, they let UCLA drive all the way down the dield and kick a field goal with time expiring to fuck the 1st half spread in the PACK 12 Champ game...all bc Chipper Kelly had to keep going for it on 4th down around midfield, rather then punt the fukin ball...that one hurt bad

mentioned this in the NFL thread...South Carolina -3 vs miss st..sc up 4 with 10 secs left instead of punting or runnng a play qb runs out the back of the endzone sc wins by 2 ( biggest of the year no doubt)...also week 1 miami as dogs covering until maryland ran a pick 6 back with 20 seconds left to cover
