I was already liking Ohio St in this spot but I expected the line to be around a pick but I guess oddsmakers are seeing what I'm seeing.
Wisconsin has dominated almost every team they've played, but they've avoided basically all the good Big10 teams and don't have any good non conf wins. BYU? FAU? USU? Come on.
As we've seen the last week, it's so hard to stay undefeated. Bama lost. Miami lost to freakin Pitt. UCF nearly lost. And the key here is that Ohio St is, like Clemson, very professional and experienced in these situations. In a game of this magnitutude, I'll take Urban Meyer. Make no mistake, if ohio state beats undefeated Wisconsin they are in the CFP.
3 years ago these 2 teams met in the big10 champ game and ohio state won 59-0! They then went on to win it all, with their 3rd string QB and Zeke Elliott. This time they are ranked lower than Wisconsin and don't have a guy like Zeke, but if you consider that JT Barrett was on that team and didn't get to play, and how long he's been around, this team is going to be looking to at least give Barrett the chance at playing in a national title game, and I'm pretty confident they can beat Wisconsin to do it. Wisconsin is so vanilla and has played nobody. If they had to play in the other division with Penn St, Michigan St and Ohio St they wouldn't be undefeated IMO.
The only thing stopping this from being a play of the year for me is the line being over a FG. I like the Buckeyes, but I don't expect it to be 59-0 this time and so I was hoping to get a lower line. One of the keys for me is how Ohio St can win close ones like vs Penn St.
But there's no way I'm taking a Wisconsin team that only beat Purdue by 8 points at home. I know Purdue is really improved but still.
The Buckeyes will win this one for Barrett and Terry Glenn. Book it.

Crazy that the look ahead line was Wisconsin -3.5 in this game two weeks ago. This Ohio St. team doesn't seem nearly as good as previous years. But this is basically the same boring Wisconsin team with a shitty quarterback we see every single year. Only thing different is their schedule is so bad they fell into the perfect situation for themselves. Who knows maybe they prove that they belong but I doubt it. I initially liked Wisconsin but just can't do it.

I'm from Wisconsin. This team does look different from last year, and sure a lot diff from the 59 zip team coached by Andersen. Only way to play it is Wisconsin. You want to back an immature punk team that lost by 40 to Iowa be my guest. They're not that good. Yet, I see posts on Ohio State seemingly every week and I don't get it. They've played 2 very good teams. Lost one at home, and should have lost the other where they had a rest advantage. Then they lost to a crappy Iowa team and snuck by Michigan who had no QB during that game.
Wisconsin is not a team that gets blown out a lot. I think they can ugly this thing up and keep it close.

Wisconsin will win this game because they have the better defense and the better offense. This is a voice text so be patient with the grammar. Most people on this site lose because they fail to do their homework. The stats will tell you Wisconsin this the better team. People are quick to say that Wisconsin have played no one. However Ohio state lost to a not so-so

Iowa team, and got blown away by Oklahoma. Bama was favored over Auburn, Auburn should have been favored in that game.

most people lose on this site because they don't do their homework. Wisconsin has the better offense and the better defense. Wisconsin played Ohio State last year and should have won the game. Ohio state had a better team last year and needed Barrett on a last-second play to win the game. This year Wisconsin have the better offense the better defense and will beat this Ohio State team Alabama was favored over Auburn. Auburn should have been favored in that game. Likewise, Wisconsin should be favored in this game, but Vegas know people will bet the brand Team. Wisconsin

Give them respect Philly. I know you can cap.....I know you can pick a one-gamer, but did you see the measuring stick result game with IOWA between the two divisions?
A game like this is won on the Lines on both sides.......and how did Ohio State get managed to get blown away by Iowa? And then, Wisky blows away Iowa shortly after that?
3 years ago was 3 years ago......stay in the moment
A 2 win team -6 vs an undefeated team getting points and there is a measuring stick game to cap that year.....
You are reaching perhaps which is what Vegas wants with this line.
Nothing personal......but, I am on the other side because I think it is easier to cash.
Proving is hard. Talk is easy.

Love this angle mentioned above... 59-0 and last year's big ten ship game vs penn state where they jumped out to an early BIG lead and relinquished it.. think that and the experience from that game will do them well.. and I've been pounding Ohio state all year.. if they win.. it'll be 1 possession! Wisconsins defense vs a jacked up Barrett? How could you back Ohio state knowing that Barrett could be less then 100% or one hit away from being sidelined?! Haskins looked great vs Michigan... that Wisconsin D is no joke! And they can run the ball..

it does not matter if wisconsin is not a team that get's blown out...all they need to do is lose by 7 in a competitive game...wisc may remember that 59 to 0 blowout...that was a different team with mostly different players...ohio state also has a chip on its shoulders, and a memory of getting destroy at iowa...talent v. talent...ohio state wins and covers, in a competitive game...

Can't see Ohio State winning this one. Wisky with the points sounds like a good one to me. Ohio State value inflated because of last week, but I don't buy it

Oh st starts 1 5star 18 4 stars and 3 3 stars while whisky starts all 3 stars or less. Talent is a big part of where the line is nut this is a tea, sport.
Whisky doesn't start a single underclassmen on D and 7 underclass men on Off.
Yes the schedule has been easy but the team has gotten better. The D has massive experience and has accomplished more with less. Anything can happen but I feel Wisky is the better team, if they get down they will grind where as oh st young stars will look to blame someone if things to go right.
I may lose but wisky at 7 is my favorite play of the weekend and I'll take the +215 as well.
GL all and may we have a weekend of competitive games,!

But we don't know that fo sho. so, that's why they get the 7 and that's value

the big thing people are missing here is the Badgers are getting healthy at the right time . the first 7 games they as many 8 starters out at any one game over the last 3 games they gotten healthier still not 100% but closer. if you look at their last 3 games they have been pretty impressive . one other thing i dont think that OS will be able to run the ball effectively , which means that they will have to rely on Barret to throw the ball, my thought on that is good luck .just my opinion .
