I agree. Penix has had a dominant season. Don’t know how many stops the Longhorns will get.

Penix might put up insane 500yd type numbers in this one, to showcase himself for the Heisman next year, although I can't see him being anything more than a mediocre backup on Sundays.

The way these so called experts hype up all these average QBs over recent years is all nonsense. College QB talent yes, but not next level.

  I was skeptical of Penix.......til I saw him play a full season. He has the ability to find & hit the open WR.......not just focus on his primary & then run/throw it away if he isn't open. He reads the field well & is accurate, & has the arm to make all the throws. But since he doesn't run much I doubt he'll be a serious Heisman candidate.

 I don't know what kind of pro he'll be. I've been right/wrong about as much as anyone on qb's makin the jump.

Majority of the country hasn't seen Penix play due to the late west coast start times. I would say they even haven't seen him play. I believe they will be shocked how good he is.And you're right, heisman prolly not gonna happen due to his business decision not to run often.

I respect the u and all the wash info but Vegas is fully aware of all the Texas opt outs and still favored Texas.  They know som3thing while public perception is Washington wins outright.  I think this is Texas or no play.

Because Vegas has gotten so close on all these other bowl games.

  It opened @ 3.5......went to 6/6.5 & now back down. I liked the Dawgs before the opt outs. I think people just want to believe Texas is better.

 Huskies  ...Looks like UDUB is going to be Top 10 next season..If they can shore up the defense...they could be a dark horse Pac 12 champion and sneak in to the playoffs...
