BCS National Championship
Baylor (15-1)
Love the Bears this year! Loaded with talent on both sides of the ball. Baylor's season will be played out on Nov. 27 in Fort Worth against TCU. IMO, Seth Russell will be even better than Petty. Probably being the dog in their only game this year, I see them getting it done in a close one. Even though I may be in the minority, I believe their elevated play on defense will be the difference maker. I feel TCU lost a little too much on the defensive end and it may end up hurting them. The winner of this game will make the playoffs. Predicting either TCU or Baylor will be in the National Championship game.
Georgia (30-1)
Favorable schedule and odds juiced me in. The Bulldogs will be decently experienced on both sides with a lot of playmakers returning. On the road against Tennessee, Auburn and Georgia Tech. If the Bulldogs can go 2-1 in those games, I feel they got a 10-11 win season on their hands with a decent shot in the SEC game. With a win comes a playoffs berth, from there anything can happen!
Arkansas (40-1)
For some reason, I am high on the Razorbacks this year! In his 3rd year at Arkansas, I feel its finally time for Bielema to start making some noise in the SEC. Last year, their season was filled with close losses and they finish up the year really strong. With many of those players returning, I think they may be underrated. With sleeper QB Brandon Allen, RB duos (Williams & Collins), receivers (Hatcher & Henry) and not to mention one of the top OLs in the country, this team is stacked. Taking a shot here with those odds!
Stanford (45-1)
As with Georgia, loving the Cardinals due to their favorable schedule and experienced playmakers. Only tough road game will be against USC in September. Last year, the Trojans went into Palo Alto and stunned the Cardinals in a close one. I see the Cards returning the favor here with Hogan one more year experienced. Stanford is a really smart team that knows how to impose their style of play onto others.
