Can't see why they wouldn't care. If OU wins by 30, Bucks will want to win by 50. It would be extra motivation would it not?
I was looking at it more from the angle that if Oklahoma wins, Ohio State may feel that their playoffs hopes are done, no matter how many they win by. But I guess you could be right.

BWS....I think Memphis +3.5 vs. UCF could be a 5* play this week. I know you have been on UCF a few times.
If you go back through the games this year, Milton played the entire game in almost every game even when they were up 21 points in the 4th Quarter. I guess he stayed in for records and stats, and also to take no chances on ending their win streak.
For that reason, UCF's back-up QB, Mack has seen almost no action this year and especially not in any game near as big as this game. He did play in their 38-0 win early in the season over South Carolina State, but only went 1-4 passing for 7 yards. In Saturday's game after Milton got injured he was only 5 for 14, which a about 35%.
Also, Milton consistently has had 2 or 3 passing TD's per game and around 300 yards passing, so he was a huge part of their offense, which opened up their run game.
This is also a revenge spot for Memphis off the 30-31 loss to UCF earlier in the season. Also, the only notable injuries for Memphis are at Defensive Back, but that should not hurt them against Mack the back-up QB. I can see Memphis loading the box and shutting down the run with no real passing threat for UCF.
I feel bad for UCF and what happened to Milton, but I really can't see them being able to beat Memphis a 2nd time with this back up QB.
Any thoughts on this game?

I like them... should have jumped the +5 opener on scoresandodds but I waited too long. If Memphis runs like they have been the last few games they should win. I don't think UCF can carry that emotion they got from the injury into this week. You know that locker room was deflated after everything sunk in over the weekend.

In2It... Mack did start and win the ECU game I believe, it was the 'surprise' game where Milton was sidelined and nobody knew until kickoff basically. But still, he's limited and Memphis will be out for blood.

Yes, your right. I overlooked this ECU game, because of the competition. In that game he was 12 for 20 and only 69 yards and that was against ECU. I don't see much difference between +5.5 and +3.5. I really like the Tigers to win this SU and end the UCF streak.

The CAA is my wheelhouse, and there may not be any left by next week. Only two - Maine and JMU - are left now. Black Bears are a small home dog to Jax State, while the Dukes are up in Hamilton (oddly, Colgate is in Hamilton, while Hamilton is in Clinton; they are only a few miles apart, in the middle of freaking nowhere) for the aforementioned visit to the Gate. After what I've seen from the refs in Boise I can't touch it. The first Fresno game was poorly officiated and the Utah St game wasn't much better
My exact concern......Boise always somehow gets the win by "hook or crook" on the blue carpet. Just to have some interest I made a small teaser bet on Fresno +8.5 and UNDER 59.
