BYU had a crazy game...wow...they F***** up...had it on the 19 yard line...and bam...hits the upright...

i like byu a lot here. might pick up a win on the blue turf which pretty much never happens

You guys are nuts to take BYU. Byu couldn't beat Utah there and you think they were looking ahead to Boise ?? Did you ever look at Boise st ATS at home ? 9-0 at home favorites !

I also like BYU on this spot; here are my backup trends:

In the game which played on the turf ---BYU was 4-1 ATS...in last 5.
As the Road underdog between 7.5 to 9.5 points....covering 2-0 ..in last few games. When they are playing on Thursday SU 1-0 as the 4 points Underdog....Well. My point is when you see the short line then just go for the Underdog. Good Luck!....Note. in last couple Thursday night games --so far were on Underdogs cashed in.!

Boise St is a better team, but more importantly, a better defense.  BYU is not clicking on any level and frustrated.  The loss to Utah was devastating for BYU, not because Utah is bad, because they are actually good, but because of how it went down......did any of you watch that game??   it was a spectacle   <--watch here......also Boise St terrific scoring defense (like Patriots last year) they give up yards, but not points (17 to MICH ST, 12 to OHIO)  AND Boise playing at home, which may be they best home field advantage in div 1....this one is easy guys......Boise St -7.5 FOR TEH LARGE!

Clark... it is mainly feel because even against a ranked team like michigan state they could probably legitimately cover 7.5 at home a good amount of the time. I watched BYU play earlier in the year against Wazzu and they looked impressive. It is just Wazzu, but it was still a very dominant performance. Last week's game I throw out the window because it is a rivalry game and historically Utah has owned BYU. That is why I stayed away from their game last weekend. Overall I just think BYU has a better sense of what their team can do and Boise is still trying to figure that out. BYU should also have comparable athletes to Boise.

 

Jlavin... michigan state only scored 3 last week and Miami of Ohio... really?

Yes, but they put 41 the week before. They put up passing yardage, they just suck at scoring (or Boise and ND are tough defenses in the red zone?) ND 8th in points allowed - Boise St 24th in points allowed.....

BYU has improved against Utah since last seasons loss to Utah  10 to 54 . The last time they played on smurf turf they lost by 1 point 27 to 28 in 04 .Last season Boise St was 0 for 6 as the home favorite.  BYU is returning more seasoned players than Boise St. this season.

Just my opnion , so I'll take BYU.

You know what's wrong with the betting public?  They never ever pick right.. I am not saying I am great at picking or I would be rich but, I watched BYU play against Utah and they played like crap believe me I took BYU over Utah and lost. Utah doesn't have anything to Boise States offense or defense so this is should be an easy win on Smurf field. Boise State should beat them by 7.5 although this game may be close. You have Nelson with a hurt back and if he gets pressured early can be forced for early turnovers. Boise State is tough at home I don't see them losing or even not covering
