Cincinnati at North Carolina State (09/16/2010)

Cincy had 15 total rushing yards in the Fresno St. game, is that true? I'm new to this, but it seems as if Cincy struggled early in their last game vs Indiana St., Only 9 pionts in the first half. And it seems as if NC State shut it down early in their game vs UCF in preperation for the short week, up 21 to 0 in the second quarter. NC State first half looks nice. I'll take NC State at home with a short week. Am I missing something? The line started +2.5 for NC State, should have been -3.5

Believe it or not... I had to double-check myself... but, Cincy and Fresno State combined for 64 rushing yards in 62 carries!

Bearcats are an absolute skeleton of what they've been the past few years... and NC State... laughable.  A close look at the Wolfpack's 28-21 win at Central Florida, shows they had 15 first downs and 239 total yards.  NC State was fucking pathetic... QB Wilson, 10-for-30... 'Pack assisted by five turnovers, including three interceptions... one that was returned for TD!  

Tonight's game on grass... just like Bearcat game at Fresno in which they looked VERY SLOW!

Cincinnati / NC State  UNDER 54

North Carolina State -2 for 3 units... The post Brian Kelly era has already begun. And as gametime approaches closer tonight the more I am reading on this game the more I am liking the Wolfpack. Honestly after reading I have come to the conclusion that the Cincinatti Defense should have their hands full with NC State's junoir QB Russell Wilson and his 61td's in just over 2 years time. Freshman RB's Mustafa Greene and Dean Haynes lead a nice one two punch at RB's while the Wolfpack defense is anchored well with LB Audie Cole. And after 2 games the Wolfpack defense is already at the top of the ACC allowing just 158ppg yards through the air and just 90ppg yards on the ground. I think lots of people will be sucked into what the Bearcats have done in the past and will be even more prone to take them when they see Zach Collaros and his high completion %. Fresno State just held the Bearcats to 15yards on the ground in 32 carries. Something tells me that the Bearcats sparkle left the day Brian Kelly signed with Notre Dame to coach the Irish. I am taking teh Home team here in this one backing up Wilson and all those TD's tonight to start of week #3...

 

 

This is a tough one, bad vs pathetic.  i can't speak because I had the worst start in years of doing this.  I'm leaning toward NC State at home, but neither is impressive.  Might be a watcher or a small play on the under to keep it interesting.
