Yeah Florida State is 0-3 on the road. But they had three turnovers to Southe Florida while they game up none. FSU still won 30-17 and it was a 17 point line! The only game they lost was NC state who played an incredible game and FSU just didn't convert key plays against them. They seemed to be off that game. I feel like they are rested from the bye week and will come out with a new focus to finish the rest of the season strong.                           Seminoles Beatdown!!

Going with VA Tech at home buying 1.5 -140 to get this line up to +14.5. One thing nobody has mentioned is you have a team from Florida mostly comprised of South Florida kids having to go into Blacksburg at night with the temps dipping into the low 30's. The cold weather plays with these young kids minds. Tech might not win outright but the outside factors will certainly keep them within covering range.

The numbers seem point to Florida st.. VT seems to play better defense at home.. It's a tuff call on which team shows up for Florida st as well as VT.

Thinking of taking Florida st. For the 1st half..

has any1 actually seen Va tech play? they are in it till the 4th quarter, and then give up 2 or 3 unanswered TDs....Va tach BEATS FSU 2nite!, but i'll take the points...plus line is moving in the opposite direction, so obviously the big money hymies in vegas are slamming va tech, while the rest of the goys are on fsu

Taking 3 Favorites 2 on the road on a Thursday night is definitely a tall order. I agree with Ark St and Colts but in this game I'm going to take +14 with the public all over FST and the line dropping.

FSU defense is a mismatch over an inept Va Tech offense so the offense should be working with short fields.  I am certainly not sold on FSU's QB/offense but I see them covering a line that is less than two TDs.  Fair comments about FSU not playing well on the road but you just cannot find anything to defend this terrible VT effort in 2012.  Since it is a Thursday night home dog, I won't go heavy on FSU but they should cover the number.  FSU still has an outside chance to move up the pretend title game for the BCS since K State and Oregon still have some games to play that could provide upsets. 

FSU wins by 17-24 points, maybe    31-10       2 unit play

I usually love taking the big home doggies.  Especially on Thursday night.  But so far this year in DD Thursday spreads:

            Ariz St -22 over Colorado           Ariz St wins 51-17

            Clemson -11.5 over Wake          Celmson wins 42-13

I don't think people realize how bad VT is this year

VT wins for three reasons:

1. ACC home dogs are money
2. they have rarely ever lost 3 in a row and never recently.
3. Everyone saw them be humiliated last week, so odds makers need them to win this week. (Don't believe me? Half the posts here reference last weeks game)

Enough said VT +13 plus 1 unit ML
