I have been reading the posts all week and this game seems to be a great matchup. Vegas set the Bulls as the favorite because people know who they are. They got a ton of pub last year. Know one knows about Kansas. Two years ago they smoked Houston and Kevin Kolb in a Bowl game. Last year they moved the ball on a VA Tech D pretty easily. And still Texas Tech and Colorado get more excitement preseason buzz. USF never seems to put the nail in the coffin. They let UCF linger and several games last year were the same story(Auburn). This game will come down to special teams and if you put your money on the USF kicker get your tums ready he is terrible. I love USF but I dont think they have the D from last year. KU gets it done and my money is on the Fat man who called a game against a Stout FSU defense with "OPIE" Heupel as his QB.

First glance I liked SF. Especially after hearing last night that Selvie doesn't have a sack on the year and that he will be going up against a redshirt freshman for Kansas. He should be ready to dominate. But the Big East has been horrible all year and SF hasn't shown me anything especially after blowing that cover last week against UCF. They should be better now that Mike Ford is back but I don't know if their offense can keep up with Reesing and Kansas.

I'm on the Baylor Bandwagon with you unclemoneybag. Washington St. has been rotating 3 qb's already in the early part of this season and not one has shown anything. Their starter, if you want to call him that, Gary Rogers averaged only 3.5 yards a pass last week. That's what an average running back should average, not a starting qb. He also threw 3 int's in the process. Baylor on the otherhand has a quarterback that can do a little bit of everything in Robert Griffin. Also, this is Rogers first road start. Look for him to be more nervous than he already was.

What will happen: South Florida will have the emotion and the fire, but Kansas will have the execution. It’ll be a hard-hitting battle with several big plays and lots of points, but KU will win the battle of the two star quarterbacks.

CFN Prediction: Kansas 27 … South Florida 24 ...

The Bulls certainly have the advantage of getting this game at Raymond James Stadium and Coach Leavitt will have his team up for this one. However, it is awfully hard to go against the Jayhawks, who can beat you on both sides of the football.

Both of USF’s top running backs are “questionable” this week. Sophomore Mike Ford, who averaged 4.7 yards per carry and had 12 rushing touchdowns in 2007, sprained his ankle in Week 1 and missed last week’s game against UCF. Ben Williams, who had six TDs last year and averaged 4.0 YPC, also has a sprained ankle.

These schools have only met once when KU collected a 13-7 win as a 3 ½-point home ‘chalk’ in 2006.

I think the baylor game is easier to predict. Baylor -3

USF and Kansas is a difficult game to Handicap. whom ever said this game is easy doesn't know what thier talking about.

USF's running back situation and the defensive players they lost from last year makes it difficult to not take a Kansas team with a great offense and getting points. Not to mention kansas has a great defense also.

I havent made a decision yet but I believe kansas can score on this USF defense.

i'll just say what i've already said about this game... the better team is getting points...

lots of emotion from the crowd for USF, but Kansas is a better team... i think Grothe has shown a little of his true colors so far

... we'll see what he can do against a battle tested and experienced defense like this... i'm expecting them to tee off on him...

Kansas is gonna be hyped up for this game...

i say its another ML or nothing at all bet... not a bad line if you just want to take the dog, though...

My early lean would be on Florida but something Fishy about this game. Going to stay away from picking the winner in this one and say it will be a highly defensive game.
