if LSU is getting 7, I will be taking that very LARGE. people busting LSU's balls, but all the do is win and they have a coach that has the proverbial horseshoe up his rear....I will take that defense plus 7 and a lucky coach all day. having said that, no way will this line be 7, 3 - 3.5 at best. I may be wrong, but to quote the one and only Charles Barkley....I doubt it.

suppose to be "but all they do is win" above....needed to add one more thing anyway. These two teams are quite familiar with one another and while home field is big.....both of them are comfortable and intimately familiar with the others turf and crowd. Another reason why I just don't think that AU will be laying 7.

I don't think many folks will be pounding LSU, Auburn will be pounded I think. Either way I'll take the Tigers here !! (joke) LSU had better show up with that great defense or it will be a slaughter ! The problems on offense continue, McNeese had the lead twice last Saturday and if you know anything about the Cowboys you know what I'm talking about !! LSU stunk it up really bad. I not sure at all that they can cover 2 TD's here to be honest, it depends on how many turnovers our defense creates and our special teams play, we will need a punt return or 2 for TD's, or some pick 6's. Our offense is really that bad at times, a lot ot the time! Shit and I'm a big LSU fan that lives in Baton Rouge ....... rant done, hope to feel better about this tomorrow.
Auburn Tigers - 6 (and up to -12) right now

I am a guy who is not afraid to say I was wrong....line opened at 6....I was wrong. also a man of my word...if it runs to 7, I'm taking the LSU variety of Tigers.

yah no one will be pounding LSU. i think LSU is the play. Auburn has absolutely no defense at all. If Mallet does not get knocked out in 1st qtr I think Ark wins decisively... LSU has the defense and athletes to not get ran over consistently by a QB. + they'll be able to score on Auburn, anyone can.
either way, public will be all over Auburn after scoring 65 on national tv.

not to mention LSU played poorly this past weekend even more reason ppl won't be on them despite the fact they prob ran their most basic plays and were looking ahead to this game.

Defense wins games and national championships! Giving up 29pts a game in your conf (Aub) vs 13pts (LSU) doesnt strike me as impressive or worth giving 6pts. LSU maybe Darkhorse to get in that BCS...hmm i dont know. But what matters this week is the large....LSU son!

Be strong bkgeezy. You cant put McNeese into any type of equation. It would be like the Yankees playing Sam Houston St before the world series. They cant possible bring their best game or players. LSU will bring this pain

Just a little stat. I know our secondary lacks of lot to be desired, but at the same time our defense has faced the top 3 passing offenses in the SEC (Arkansas, South Carolina, Kentucky). Whereas LSU is near the bottom in passing offense I believe. The key to this game is how the LSU front 7 defend Cam. A healthy Dyer should help this week as well. Jordan-Hare will be rocking.

no question about this...you hit the nail on the head very squarely. I guarantee you LSU will probably assign Sheppard (#11) to Cam the entire game, which could prove to be the difference in the game for either team.

This isn't the Razorback defense coming in to yet another home game for Auburn. Geez.....do they ever go on the road??? LSU has played in 20 of these type of games in the last 5-6 years.....Auburn has played in just a couple. I believe this game comes down to defense and LSU is better. If they get to that Terrell Pryor knock off........LSU will break the hearts of the Auburn faithful everywhere.

still cant believe Aub is undefeated... Clemson caved in the second half, USC caved in the second half...primarily because spurrier's dumb ass decided to put in a tru fresh in on the 4th qtr on the road, in a hostle sec enviroment...Ark has no running game- they are 1 dimensional on offense, and their D lacks SEC top talent... AUB schedule plays out nice for them to meet Bama undefeated IF they can beat LSU.
Thing is, as dynamic as Cam Newton is, LSU might not be the most attractive team to watch, but they have won on the road in a hostile enviroment vs FLA, granted FLA is a bit down, they still are a tough team in the swamp. Other than AUB beating ARK they havent beat anybody convincingly at home or a good team on the road. look at the UK game: they won by 3.
tough to call bc home field is huge in the SEC, but I think LSU will shock AUB Tigers, and if they dont win, they will cover.
I am a USC fan, and our D sux this yr, and that played a huge part in
AUB winning because all they did was pound the ball up the middle with newton and
eventually hit the play action fake and 1 on 1 coverage.
I really think LSU will make cam Newton throw the ball more here or at
least hand it off more, and possibly expose them for a 1 man team.
if they dont lose here, they will lose to Bama well they lose to Bama regardless
LSU take the Points
