I have a rule when it comes to betting LSU. Don't take them after week 4, week 5 is stretching it. I expect nothing but close games for them, for the rest of the year. Not worth sweating your money over. Unless you guys like to watch a battle to the last minute

This game comes down to which Gators show up would expect this to be a battle cant wait to see the line. How often do you get the Gators and points.

Yes, they have a better value as an underdog. But it almost always comes down to one last possession, one last drive. I don't know about everyone else, but I prefer to have a game in hand, way before the last 4 minutes.

yea i agree with that statement big time...
 
i am constantly amazed at people who are betting on a dog because they think it will get a backdoor cover... the problem with that...
 
been doing this for 25 years, and i discovered something very early on... there are times you bet on the right team and lose, and times you bet on the wrong team and win... for me, the right side, in this sense, fits two descriptions...
 
1) if a favorite is covering the spread at any time during the game, they are the right side...
 
2) if the favorite is covering the game spread at halftime, they are the right side...
 
 
based on this, you should never be betting on a game because you like the backdoor cover... that essentially means you are hoping to get lucky, by winning a bet that was the wrong side...
 
just my opinion... don't care if people disagree... just sharing what i know...

and just understand... the reason i say this is because it plays out percentage-wise... sometimes it might be wrong, but much more often it is right... about 2:1...

Leaning on LSU here.  UF has not been only impressive in flashes with sub par game standing out (Miss game) and LSU still just grinds it out, and wins, wherever they play (aub game).  Meyer and Tebow still looking for that huge win this year, may come here.  Will jump in with both hands if the line goes to 7 for LSU and waiting on O/U to take over if reasonable (48).

When LSU wins as a favorite in conference play, they either win and cover, or win and not cover.

However, pay attention people, when they're the underdog, when they win, of course they cover. But, when they lose, they almost never cover.

So unless you expect LSU to pull of an upset, yes, I said that right, upset, not the other way around, then this is not a game you want to bet.

LSU is only ranked 4th, based on perception. They haven't played anybody. That's coming from me, an LSU fan, a Louisiana resident, member of the SEC region, one great MOFO

I picked LSU to be a darkhorse to win the SEC, and play in the national title, again. I will root and cheer for them, but my money and LSU ties, are done for the season. Unless I see something I like.

Night game in the Swamp.  Cant wait for this one.  Honestly, LSU has taken the last 3 of 4 from the gators, but every game went down to the wire, and honestly the gators could have easily won each of the last 4 games.  If our coaches are on their game, and thats a big if cause the play calling, on both sides of the ball the past few weeks, has be absolutely atrocious.  If we run our offense well, I don't see LSU coming within 2 touchdowns of the game. However, if we play like we did against Arkansas or ole miss, there will be a lot of pissed off drunk gator fans after this one gets out.  Since it is a night game, and not an early morning game, we should play extremely well.  Gators take it home here

LSU is taking on water... sinking ship and stuff. Mississippi and Auburn put up 24 and 21 respectively on them. LSU is 4-0 but that is all. Gators got a reality check two weeks in a row and will be well-prepared for this one.

Yeah I guess I thought a undefeated # 4 would be favored over a 1 loss # 11 but then I guess it is LSU and publick will be on the Gators

Florida has failed to cover in the 1st half twice for me this season well ok last week was a push but I will have to look at this one before I touch this one, but I'm actually leaning on taking LSU.

I think LSU isn't as good as everyone thinks.  I believe Florida will win by double digits...easy cover for Florida

I like LSU in this one. They are coming off of a bye week which gives Les Miles and Gary Crowton an extra week to gameplan and it also gives Lsu players(Francios, Hatch, Beckwith) time to recover. If Jean-Francios and Darry Beckwith are healthy I think Lsu wins. In my opinion Lsu and Bama are the 2 best teams in the SEC and I think they are very similar. They both are dominant in the trenches(o-line and d-line), they both run the ball extremely well, and they both have very physical defenses with a lot of speed.

LSU has been exposed this year, this could be a 20 point victory for Florida.  They do play better at night and they have to be focused after that slip up a few weeks ago.
