RonaldJeremy,
Going off your point, not counting 2007 because I wasnt as consistent and didnt bet every Boise game that year. I been laying $100 a game sense with a few over/unders that spinkled in from time to time that also more likley than not hit.
2008 7-3-1 W + $700 / L - $300 (10% juice -$30) Total = +$370 2009 8-5 W +$800 / L - $500 (10% juice -$50) Total = +$250 2010 5-1 W +500 / L - $100 (10% juice - $10) Total = + $390 Past 3 yrs = +$1010 as of now...that may not be alot of money to some people but ill take + anything any day.
As for your comment on oddsmakers adjusting to an undervalued team, take a look at the spreads this year. -25, -18 (vs ranked opponent), -44, -39, +1.5(vs Vtech) and now -38 depending on your books. Im pretty sure oddsmakers dont look at Boise as an "undervalued team". What are they going to make a 50 point spread next.
Like I said in my original post Boise is a COVER MACHINE.

I usually like taking the points with such a large spread, but the more I look at this game, the more I'm leaning Boise. These guys need to blow teams like La Tech out if they want to stay in the Nat'l Championship hunt...At home on a Tuesday night. It's not an easy trip for La Tech. The fact that their defense is playing lights out makes me want to take Boise. I have the line at 37.5 right now, but will wait to see if it comes down at all before gametime. I think we're looking at something like a 52-10 game.

It was business as usual, as Boise State was their normal dominant self on both sides of the ball in a 48-0 whitewash of San Jose State less than two weeks ago. Kellen Moore (14-16 231) had a short albeit highly productive night before giving way to the bench. He didn’t have a seat until after the offense had taken a 41-0 lead by halftime and had rolled up most of their 535 yards. The ground game was well represented also, piling up 213 yards behind nine ball carriers led by Doug Martin’s 68 yards. Ten different receivers also saw extensive action with Titus Young (7-105) catching one of Moore’s two scoring tosses. People might think they ran up the score, but they used three different quarterbacks, seven backs and ten receivers in all.
The BSU defense was arguably more impressive than their offensive counterparts, giving up just 80 total yards. The Spartans totaled just six first downs with no success at all on the ground with -12 yards and just 92 through the air as they sacked and hurried three different San Jose State signal callers from start to finish. The benefactors was an offense that needed zero help but was constantly given a short field to work with and made the most of it.
Louisiana Tech comes in on a two game winning streak following a 48-35 shootout victory over Idaho. In their most dominant offensive display to date, the Bulldogs tallied 683 yards and 32 first downs as they manhandled the Idaho defense. Ross Jenkins (31-44 422) had a career day through the air with three scoring throws, spreading the ball around to nine different receivers. Not known as much as a running team, La Tech even ran for 261 yards with Lennon Greer (23-179) doing most of the heavy lifting and adding two touchdowns. It turned out the Bulldogs needed every yard with their defense having trouble containing the Vandals offense.
Idaho came up on the short end of the score, but with 533 total yards, the Louisiana Tech defense looked to be a minor inconvenience to Idao. The La Tech shutdown the ground game but all to often fell victim to the right arm of Nathan Enderle (24-350 373) who threw for three scores against one interception, who gave way to Brian Reeder (8-10 140) who continued the assault with another two scores. Not surprising, considering this unit is near the bottom nationally at defending the pass (297) and total yards (449).
If we look back over the last several years, Louisiana Tech has not always been an easy victim for Boise State and has arguably played them tougher than any other team in the WAC. Having said that, they’ll need to find the end zone more than usual here and ask a challenged defense to at least slow down their rivals. That’s been the goal of every team on the Broncos schedule and it hasn’t been done yet. I’m not sure it happens here with a team in hot pursuit of the top spot in the rankings.
