No play on all the games worth watching. Big play on NIU -3 and fading Fresno ST which means Utah ST +3.5. Mizzu has been very good to me this year but this game is capped right where it should be. Keep your money in your pocket on all the other games this week. The money is to be made betting against the Little Sisters of the Poor, the money I is to be lost betting on the NFL or the collision of the elite teams in the NCAA.

Excellent matchup of two surprising teams. Slight lean to Mizzou who looks like the better defensive team at this point, and who proved they could contain a mobile QB last weekend against Johnny Cash. Two really good defensive ends, especially Sams. Mizzou also has 2-3 excellent WRs, especially Washington who may be the best receiver in the SEC. They were 11-1 with the only loss coming on a missed FG in overtime after a Hail Mary 4th and 18 pass by SC.
Auburn is 11-1 but they had a solid loss to LSU, and won three games at home with the winning scores coming with 35 combined seconds on the scoreboard. One was a 90 yard scoring drive against Miss State, and two were on weird plays that were simply miraculous. Give the Auburn coaches credit for putting their kick returner in against a FG unit to tackle him on a short kick, that was smart, but you have to ask if they have usedup their luck from the football gods.
Have more study to do but looks like a medium confidence bet on Mizzou for me. My biggest concern is how Mizzou will play in this environment as it is their first ever trip to an SECCG. Neutral field but it is likely Auburn will end up with more of the tickets that are being sold at the last minute (although Bama fans will prefer to sell them to Mizzou fans.)

Don't know what difference that makes Omerta, the only advantage is who has the tickets. There is no significant time zone difference, no travel fatigue issues, so what does the mileage difference matter? Anyone can go on StubHub and other sites to buy tickets and both schools received equal allocations. Auburn fans may live closer but both schools have enough fans willing to travel to this game if they can get tickets. No edge to either, although I would say Auburn ends up with a few more seats. Won't matter, noise is off the charts for both teams in the dome. More impartial SEC fans will want to see Mizzou win this game., Auburn not very popular choice (pretty sure the Bama fans would rather sell their tickets to Mizzou fans.)

Auburn has used up all there luck this season. They should have lost to texas am, miss st, and ole miss had they come to play and hadn't had a td called back on a bullcrap call. they had one of the luckiest plays in the history of college football in the Georgia game the week before and another one in the bama game. bama fg kicker missed 3 fg's and bama went for it on 4th and 1 on which would have been a chip shot fg that would have won it for them. bama should have won by 12 and we wouldn't be having this conversation but since we are that means auburn has used up all there luck. there will be no more rabbits to pull out of the hat this season. I am riding a one loss Missouri team, in which the one loss came the week after losing franklin and in triple over time to a very good south caroilna team, for the large. Missouri is the only pick here and teasing them up with n. Illinois is a mortal lock!

I agree with Lordzud above- this is practically an "unbettable" game between 2 very similar and talented teams. However, the move from Arkansas St to Auburn is a marriage made in heaven for both Gus Malzahn, and the Auburn Tigers.

I think Aubies will have an edge too, but it zero to do with mileage, simply who can get their hands on tickets that are being given up. I know lots of Auburn fans, none had a ticket before two weeks ago. Mizzou had a better inkling of getting to Atlanta, just don't know how many knew the flodd of tickets that would open up from SC, and especially Bama fans who had been gobbling them up until last5Saturday. Doesn't matter that much, there will be thousands of fans there who don't care either way but have annual ticket rights. Have attended several SECCG's in the Dome, the atmosphere is off the charts every time, doesn't matter who is playing. It will loud for both teams. I am more interested in the score, not the fan count, but fans of both teams would crawl 500 miles to be there. I think Mizzou and Michigan State will be the teams most CFB fans will cheer for around the country...by a large margin.
Orange and Blue will be the dominant color in the dome. Watch and see.

any of you betting this game might as well flip a quarter, because I don't see a "significant" advantage for either...
if there is even a slight advantage, I would give it to Mizzou...Auburn's victory over Bama and the way they did it, kept its fans and probably coaches and players distracted for 3 days...if Mizzou can shore up their run D, I think Franklin will slice and dice Auburn's D...
Still, no play for me...

Auburn 1 1/2 hrs drive to the dome. dont matter cause history show auburn hadnt been there but 1 time for the last 10 years. bama fans hate auburn, so tickets wise is not an issue. mizz at SEC in their 2nd year at sec conf, they will show auburn that they are in the league. so MIZZ over for the large.
