It's true, Coach Niumatalolo grew up, played HS football, and played college ball here. The University of Hawaii is discounting tickets to the military as well.
Hawaii is still an unsound bet for or against. The triple option is vulnerable. Will Hawaii's youthful starters continue to jell late season or will they fold like a house of cards?
Most are betting that they will fold. The spread climbed from 6.5 to 10pts in favor of Navy.
Good luck with your bets, fellahs.

Niumatalolo used to be the Hawaii starting QB years ago. He isn't going to get it easy by any means as Hawaii will be jacked up to give hime a warm welcoming party at NoAloha.

Hawaii plays so poorly versus the run. They have been killed by Fresno and Boise at home, crushed by La T. on the road. I saw Navy beat ND and lose close to Ohio St. You can try to make a case for Hawaii but...

I'm going with NAVY. You gotta believe there will be a contingent of midshipmen based over there at the game. Maybe like a home game for NAVY.
WOW THIS IF FKKING IGNORANCE RUNNING WILD!!!!! First of all I'm going to assume you haven't been to a UH/Navy game before, and probably not even been to Hawaii.
Second Aloha stadium seats 50,000 people there are over 30,000 season ticket holders who will NOT be cheering for Navy. Second If you have lived in this state and remotely followed UH teams, you will know that the locals come out of the woodwork when we win 3 games or more in a row. Lets give you the benefit of the doubt and say the remaing tickets will be split 50/50 between locals and service people (who btw mostly cheer for hawaii anyway). and say 5000 season ticket holders dont show up for the game. That gives you 10000 navy backers vs 35000 locals, (all of whom have the seats closer to the field as the lower sidelines are all season ticket holders)
Thirdly, along with the half off for military, its also half off for UH alumni.....
Your opinion on the game is fine, don't comment on sh*t you have no idea whatsoever you're talking about

@titiomagic33....i'm not saying that navy isnt going to win, read my pick, its the first post! It just upsets me when people talk about sh*t that they have no idea what they're saying, like its going to be a home game for navy, because its not. If the game is close, the crowd is going to be loud. but its not going to be close, I think.

35000 locals at the Navy/UH football game. Puhahahaha!!! Get real. This isn't the same Hawaii squad like we had 2 years ago. Next year, should be a lot better though. You're going to see a big Navy turn out from the sailors at Pearl Harbor Naval Station on Saturday. Navy is throwing a big tailgate at Richardson Field, across from Aloha Stadium. I actually wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of dress whites in the stands.
As for the game.....haha! Sorry. Gotta go with Navy, Hawaii can't stop the run. If Hawaii can't get first downs, they're screwed.
Navy -10

ALL THIS TALK ABOUT THE CROWD------ WHEN THE HELL HAS THE CROWD EVER WON A GAME. I BET THE BETTER TEAM NEVER THE CROWD AND I SURE THE HELL WOULD'NT WORRY ABOUT A HAWAII CROWD, I THINK NAVY PLAYING AT N.D. OR AT THE HORESHOE AND ALMOST WINNING THAT GAME SHOULD EASE EVERYONE'S MIND ABOUT NAVY AND A CROWD. COME ON.

You wouldn't worry about a Hawaii crowd?? Try going to a Hawaii/UNLV game in Las Vegas. I wouldn't piss off the rather large polynesian fans or the small, trash talking ones, they tend to solve arguments with you spending some time in the hospital. As long as your team doesn't wear red, you're pretty safe. LOL!

Abso-fing-lutely. Look at the teams first before you start using that to claim a win. Play on the field wins games; if the two teams are evenly matched intangibles like crowd are worth the analysis. These teams aren't evenly matched. Navy wins by 14 potential for backdoor cover like that Boise game last night.

Everyone, Im from Hawaii as well and must say that alot of the fans for Hawaii dissappeared. hawaii suck ass this year and thats a fact. Granted they are trying to hang in there but won't do it tonight. I too was a season ticket holder but gave that up when McMackin took over. Locals hate the military here for they don't have no class but there will be alot of military at this game. It is quite obvious with shygorilla getting upset in here. Good Luck everyone Navy kicks ass for Hawaii couldnt stop there child from running across the street
