Everyone else opened at -4, and of course my book had to be different... Get this line before it goes any higher guys. Coach Butch Davis has his best team at UNC this year. UCONN will struggle in this one. UNC thumped them last year and I expect the same this year.

I'm with you Bluefin. This looks like a trap to me. UNC ranked vs a UConn team who looks to fall off quite a bit from the last few years. I don't know, but 4 seems really low and it makes me think that someone knows something that I don't know. No play for me. Too suspicious.

Roll with the Heels Dog. Davis breaks through into the top ten this year. He has much better team symmetry than last year

this line doesn't look right to me either. not sure what to think about this one. i don't think i could take uconn though. just a thought.

I took UNC the minute it came out at -4. I have my own formula which obviously isn't perfect or I would retire, but I do ok and I do win money. I had UNC -6. I think that is a more appropriate line and was happy to buy it down to -3.5. I get a little jumpy and buy too many 1/2 points to start the year at the -3.5, -4, -4.5, -6.5, and -7.

i dunno guys, dont put to much thought into suspicious lines the fact is UNC is a power house this year and i will gladly take -4

  This game has reverse line movement written all over it... I'm either on UConn now or off completely... ie. Minnesota and Illinois last week.... and I lost a bunch on those 2 games.. Sharp

I lost that Minny game too, but like i always say, to be a good capper, u need a short memory when it comes to pulling the trigger on games. GL

Last year was 38-12 heels and that game was against a better UConn team.

gobigblue - you are correct.. but at the same time, watching line movements are an important part of wagering and strategy.. I'm off N. Carolina.. this game just sticks out too much.. and through the years, that tells me to get on the other side or stay away.. Sharp

This is a very wierd line boys and girls......common sense says you jump all over N. Carolina.......but when the herd all goes one way, sometimes it's best to play small ball and play small amounts of money and go the other way.  I don't know if I can pull the trigger on a weakened UCONN team in this one......but I caution on pounding this game! 
 
And mark my words (sorry, Dr Doggs)  Carolina isn't a power and won't be sniffing the top ten this year.  If you want to pound a road favorite by almost this same number and be confident in your play, and know the favorite won't have a let down or not be up for the game, take the Irish at Mich.
