If Kelly is a Traitor, then so is almost every coach. Are you a USC fan? Lane Kiffin did the same thing only worse.

Hey I’m sorry about posting across so many threads, but I’m trying to start a college football news and analysis site, www.saturdaysinthefall.com, and am looking for two good handicappers to give their input on a weekly article pertaining to picks against the spread.
I will select somewhere between 6-10 games and will post picks against the spread in each of them, possibly with a little bit of analysis. You can add a few bonus picks of your own if you love any that aren’t on the card as well.
If anyone would be interested in helping out, I’d be very grateful. You can email saturdaysinthefall@gmail.com for more info. All I ask is that you are available to do it weekly, and that you can add a good contribution with good picks.
If you’re interested, I’d love to hear from you.If not, good luck betting this season!

Well, the first post of the new year......so I have to put it up on my Irish!! I totally understand why people are looking at taking the points in this game. It makes sense based on the recent past of the Irish program. But, Daniels is an athletic, not very accurate, scrambling QB. He threw for less than 1,700 yards last year and finished in the middle of the pack in a bad, very bad conference. Yes, they have a bunch of very athletic kids and every year knock off one highly ranked team, but that is usually one of the top two teams they face in conference later in the year after they gel.
The Irish have 16 returning starters taking the field. I live in South Bend and have listened to the team rally around Dayne Crist. Hell, he had over 2,000 yards passing and a 3-1 TD to INT ratio before he went down with an injury after week 8 and missed most of the Michigan game in week #2.
Floyd, Riddick, Jones and the interchangable TE's will play very, very well in this game. Kelly has always exploded offensively in his second year at every stop he has made through his career. I expect a quick start in this game. Defensively, S Fla could cause some problems getting to the QB and stuffing an average running game. But, when it's S. Fla's turn on offense, I can't see them moving the ball on a defense that added so much at the ends positions, NG and returns 7 of their back 8 starters from last year when they finished 4-0 and averaged allowing 290 total yards a game against Army, Utah, USC and Miami in the Bowl game??? I'll lay the chalk and hope for the best.
I don't see ND scoring anything less than 34 points in this game. GL to everyone this year!! And go figure....the Colonel is the first on the message boards again for like the 5th year in a row!!!! Have a great year my friend!!!!

i like the points here, with USF +10. i know daniels isnt the most reliable qb out there, but hes capable of the big play. i think if you mix that in with the team speed of usf, it can cause some problems for the irish.
waiting for my book to have the ML open, and ill put a small amoun on that too.
GL everyone

As much as I dislike Notre Dame, they are for real this year. I think they win and cover over a bewildered SFB's team who's never played in South Bend before.

Like most people, I would love to see another overrated ND team go down, but with an opener at home, I think they best an average USF team. But I don't think they cover. Small play on da Bulls + the points.
They will get knocked off later in the year, 3-4 times, but ND wins this one by a TD.

This is easily the best coached, most prepared, most confident, best in shape team that Notre Dame has put on the field since Lou Holtz.
The shitty coaches that have came through ND have hurt the programs reputation. Bob Davies was a bumb (but he did beat USC) Ty Golfingham would rather be golfing than coaching, and Chuckie Weis was epic bad. He had no recruiting or talent developing skills.
Brian Kelly is a proven winner in College. Shit, he could of played for the national championship at freaking Cincinnati 2 years ago against Florida if Texas doesn't get bailed out by the clock operator.
If you can come one second from the national championship at Cincinnati than you know how to coach em up!
GO IRISH

fair enough...time will tell with kelly... i am staying far away from this game. my gut tells me the irish will be slightly ahead most of the game, and the cover could go either way late.
