Long travel for USC and they could be looking ahead to Stanford (who beat them last season). Carrier Dome will become a tough place to play if Syracuse gives the crowd any hope. Taking Cuse +26

Matt Barkley is going to be almost as good as luck even tho the last two usc QB's have been horrible in the NFL barkley will change that I don't  see usc will covering -27 they could but this is no statement game syracuse with points because of usc has compasion

Over looks to be the best play here. dont see usc letting off the gas here to much as they dont want to be embarrased by letting the cuse get to close to upsetting.

top 3 wr's (Nick Provo, Van Chew, Alec Lemon) and rb (Baily) are gone or not playing for SU.  Take them away from last year and you have 26 yds rushing and 15 yds receiving. Where are they going to get there offense from this time around?? Don't get caught up in any of the hype from scoring 41 against NW. SU O-line is weak. A little bit of pressure could lead to a few turnovers and USC points really fast. Even if USC gets up by 21 in the 4th and stop throwing it they have a much better running game and offensive line that could put up a late score or two without much trouble. Wouldn't be worried about rollin with USC.
