Analysis: While Texas A&M does have a good offense, they will not be able to score on Georgia like they have on some Big 12 defenses. There scoring numbers are helped considerably by the average of 45 points they put up against Utah State, New Mexico and UAB. I do think they will be able to score on Georgia, I do not think they will be able to meet their season scoring average.

Other: Georgia has solid special teams. Also come away with points a lot more often then A&M does when they get in the red zone. Other then that, not much to take here.

Final: I expect Georgia to roll. Their coming in hot with their victory over tech. In their last 4 games they are scoring an average of 33.25 points. Texas A&M did play Texas tough, but I feel like they are getting a lot of respect based off that game only. You have to remember this team has lost by more then 28 points 3 times and lost to Colorado. They lost to Oklahoma 65-10 and Kansas State 62-14 (note two of the better defenses they have faced). I feel like Georgia will be able to get out to an early lead and just not let off the gas and dominate A&M.

As an A&M graduate and die hard fan, I can tell you this about our football team.  We unimpressively beat teams who have no business being on the field with us, we lose to teams we should beat (i.e. when we are 3 to 10 point favorites), and we somehow show up in games we have no business being in (except the OU debacle).   

Bowls have been a completely different story, as we always seem to lay an egg.  Sherman is a good coach, not a great coach, but I think he will have the team prepared.  Although Georgia is having a down year, their recent success will cause our players to see this as a huge upset, and I think they will be motivated accordingly. 

Our defense is horrible, and I don't know if A. J. Green is healthy, but we don't have a single player, or two, who can guard a stud WR.  One thing that can cause problems for Georgia is our sack machine Von Miller.  I'm not too sure of how good UGA's left tackle is, but he better have a quick first step.  Miller has caused havoc all year long, and he usually has a monster game when he gets a sack early.   

If A&M is in this game, it will be a shootout, because our defense will certainly give up points.  Our QB has shown flashes of brilliance, and at other times has been mediocre, although those mediocre games usually result from having a DL in his face the second he gets the snap.  I would have to look at their schedule, and how UGA has handled mobile QB's.   Watch out for a 49-45 type game.

It seems Georgia's secondary is their weakness, or so I have heard.  I won't even bother analyzing UGA's offense against our defense.  But I think the key will be our passing game against UGA's back 4.  We have one prototype WR who requires safety help, and our QB loves to spread the ball around, with usually 6 or 7 guys have multiple receptions (this season 5 players had 30+ receptions.) 

All-in-all, if you like A&M +7, take the over.

I'm having trouble deciding on this game... and when that happens 80% of the time the dog hits.... so for now I'm leaning Texas A&M +7 but let me sleep on it and I'll be back before game time... Sharp
