I love reading all of combato's posts.... I usually just go with the opposite of what he says.... He was saying to take KState tonight... So I went with Oregon and the Under and hit... I suggest just going against combato... I personally think he just tries to post the wrong things to mess with people... Because he is wrong more often than he is right... Just a thought... I'm thinking A&M and the under as of now... Thanks COMBATO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)
HAAAAAAAAA! Tell me about it, him and his "score predictor", all he can do to come back at me is make fun of my avatar, he tries to claim last wk he's 9-3, that's funny, b/c I know of 5 game alone I've faded him on. He's horrible at pickin games. He had MISS ST over NW, ya that was real close. LOL!

-Landry: last game; 3-0 in bowl games. -Johnny Football: he is awesome and "reckless"; 2 INTs tonight A&M lost to bad offensive teams LSU and Florida. This is by far the best offensive team A&M will have faced.
Oklahoma: 41 A&M: 31

-Both on 5 game winning streak.
A&M missing OC.

Everyone was on the over on Oregon and K State and look what happened. I've gotta take the under on this one, especially at 72.5, still can give up 9 TDs and 3 FGs.
I also really like u62.5 @ +215
Also like A&M -2.5(-125), only losses to LSU and FLA and they beat BAMA on the road. My biggest concern is if that little trophy went to Johhny's head.
Longest TD under 68.5

Way too much experience on the Sooner side of the ball to be laying 4.5 points. Stoops will have his team ready, especially playing against a team he is quite familiar with.
Oklahoma - Under
sounds right to me colonel! also heisman jynx and new celeb status for johnny football has more then likely motivated landry who I expect to play with chip on his shoulder...

Yesterday I went heavy on the Under In Oregon K-State for the soul reason I thought Kstate would control the ball the whole game. Today I am going on the over. This game reminds me a lot of the Red River shootout when Oklahoma Pounced Texas. Well guess what A+M will pounce Oklahoma in this one and the Over will hit at 72. Lets see if I can hit back to back nights.

Ive changed my mind on this game. Originally i had thought oklahoma might be without the services of one of their best wr's, but this is not the case. Oklahoma is the hungrier team, i like the fact that they have been nearly unstoppable on offense vs. some really good teams for weeks now. I think the hypes gonna go to ole johnnys head a bit and i just feel oklahoma has something to prove here whereas i don't believe that a and m is a hungry football team at all. This game will likely be a shootout, but i like oklahoma now to win su.

Haven't been on this site in years. I took Oregon last night due to nothing more than instinct. I'm a chess player and one of the major factors in improving your game is to understand "pattern recognition." (This is also true of most things in life, but especially when it comes to analysis.)
Anyway, "gut" and instinct are about unconscious recognition of familiar scenarios. My brain tells me to take A & M, but my gut tells me the smarter play is on Oklahoma. Bob Stoops has a boatload of experience and I like that they are the dogs. This is a "situational" play for me. Oklahoma's losses this year were pretty damn close. I'll even predict an upset.
Just giving some food for thought. But generally, when the numbers heavily lean in favor of a team and the line doesn't reflect it, I always question the "give-me" play.
I'm putting a dime on Oklahoma and a nickel on the moneyline. If I lose, I can live with it as I feel I made the smart play. On the other hand, if Oklahoma loses, I hope they get blown out so I don't have to sweat it out with false hope.
But for all the experienced ones on this board, and there are tons, I think what I say rings true. Whether it pans out or not, in the long run, I'm on the right side of 50-50 more times than not. Hope this helps. Ultimately, it can't just be about numbers or we'd all be millionaires.

Glad to see someone had noticed... Check out my post on the Oregon/KState feed #100. It was a very childish thing to do but I challanged him to see who makes better picks... still no answer. I wouldn't have said anything, but I don't being personally attacked for giving an informed opinion... Where ya at combato???

Will run with Oklahoma plus 3 points! Oklahoma has an equality explosive offensive attack...with QB Landry Jones (3989 YP, with 29 TDs and is 39-10 as a starter!)...and super-fast RB Damien Williams (905 YR, 11 TDs and 5.7 y.p.c!).
And with this being QB Manziels last game of the season, some sources say he will not be "scrambling" or "running wild" in this game, avoiding Tony Jefferson (113 tackles) and Javin Harris (77 tackles) who will be constantly chasing him! This could force Manziel to pass far more often than he likes to, and could cause him big trouble! Will go with powerful Oklahoma looking for their 4th straight Bowl victory!
Texas A&M 1-5 vs. spread their last 6 Bowl games!
A&M now 1-8 last 9 games vs. Oklahoma!
Oklahoma plus 3 vs. Texas A&M!

Everyone is talking about Stoops and Landry in big games but together they have not lost a bowl game... Landry is a Senior that has never won a Heisman so he's going to have a chip on his shoulder being an underdog to a Freshman Heisman winner.
Johnny Football has been a traveling roadshow since winning the Heisman... Someone on here already mentioned him sitting courtside at the Mavs game and playing golf with the Jonas Sisters. They say Manziel wears a size 15 shoe and has huge hands, but I think it's about time someone measure his head...
I've also seen people mention the fact that this match up favors A&M because it's an SEC/BIG12 game, but Texas is brand new to the SEC. They haven't had the chance to recruit the Southeast strongly yet, they will, but haven't yet.
I also think the fact that they beat Alabama puts them in the public eye. Everybody and their brother is going to bet the Heisman winner with the great nickname "Johnny Football" that beat almighty Alabama...
To top it off, Manziel was given permission to speak to the media for the first time all year only after the season ended. Now he's doing a lot of talking and I think that win work against him.
This game has all the motivational factors in favor of the Sooners. Stoops and Landry hearing about this Freshman Heisman winner, and that they can't win big game. Oklahoma has the talent to win and I think they do.
I'll take the team with a chip on their shoulders, Oklahoma over the big headed freshman without his play caller. Too many distractions surrounding A&M... Add the fact that they're playing at Cowboys Stadium where Landry seems to have played every other week... Sooners win straight up!
Oklahoma +3

I think the edge has to go to Oklahoma...

Hey Atlanta, watch out for that opening runback !!
At least it was quick and painless right !! I didn't even see it. I got home towards the end of the 1st and told my roomate the bets I had made and he just started laughing.
No worries, I liked it and would hit it again in the same situation. Not again though. You know, ..ck me once, shame on you blah, blah, blah. Best of luck to you though !!
BOL to all !!

Tex A&M took down Bama at Bama and I know we feel the Bamas schedule was soft, but the Crimson Tide defense is still very good and the Sooners defense is rather weak and I don't think this time off has fixed things. The Aggies offense is damn good and I think we'll see another shootout with A&M covering

This is the best matchup of the BCS games, imo. All logic says A&M will win this game and cover, but the distraction around Manziel and the Heisman will make it more competitive. I just cannot get over Oklahoma losing a game to ND at home when there was no reason to be flat. I am going to take A&M because they are simply a better team, but I am minimizing my bet from what I thought when this game was first announced. Agree that over is a bet worth exploring but it always ends up being a slow start when I do that and you just cannot overcome that with an O/U this large.
Texas A&M to cover One unit play
Just enjoy this one, better bets available.

Man, I'm sick of pop culture crazed morons saying "REALLY?" all the time. Bitches look at Saturday Night Live and hear some fool say that, and are conditioned to say (or type) it over and over. I always go against people that do this. They are ALWAYS wrong. OU will cover.
When this guy loses his money, he will for sure say "Oh well, at the end of the day it is what it is!!!"
