Do me a favor.   bet on every team that is a consensus favorite of 65% or more this week and see how you do.  

Sorry you just struck a cord.  I know very well the public wins some.  And sometimes I win with them.   Look at my posts.   I always give the betting data for everyone to consume and then I make my pick.   BUT  I don't always bet against the public.   I was all over Oregon last week even though they were a VERY public side.  

The betting data is not there to necessarily help you make a bet but it is there to help you NOT make a bet.  

If I like a public side and the line is moving the other way.  I don't necessarily bet the other way, I usually simply lay off the game.

UCONN high powered passing offense?   Exactly which UCONN did you watch.  This is football not basketball.

Last year they averaged 167 on the ground and 218 through the air.
They on avg ran 41 times on the ground and threw 28 passes per game.

This was a run first team last year and is again this year.

the average o/u for uconn last year was 46 and on the games that went over they gave up on avg 30.   It is hard for a game no to go over 46 when 1 team is giving up 30.  they went over because the D was HORRIBLE

all that said.   I am staying off this total.  I don't think there is any value in it.   it seems about right on.

Very well said, in terms of viewing where the value is at in this game all about money management and finding games where their is value vs. picking each side and total. of wich WV -6.5 lay off the total it could easily go either way.

Uconn is in trouble this year guys.  QB kicked off for failing 3 drug tests....freshman out this week with concusion.   Team is a mess...playing out the string and Edsall bolts at end of season.   Goin at 3 to tailgate for this mess...WVU big!!!!   Good luck all!!!!

playing West Virginia -6 here.. coming off a loss to Syracuse, against a team with out their starting quarterback..

I've been on the Dogs all week and been successful with La Tech and NC State, but I think WV runs away with this one.  Seems like UConn is a mess and WV will be very focused after losing last week.  The main difference between these teams is on defense.  WV is superior.

I was leaning WV anyway, but we got a Huskie fan telling us to back WV too.  That does it.  All over the Mountaineers.

81% of today's betting is on WV but spread came down?

72% of todays betting is on over but total came down?

I don't like this betting data at all.

both teams are inconsistent - i will take the points +7.5 (bought a point) and hope - i have found teams that lose a game at home that they should have won (wv vs syracuse) and then go on the road usually lose

Both teams are hard to gauge, but I have to go with WV on this one.  They have the better athletes and skill guys.  Good Luck
