I uploaded a new avatar 24 hours ago, but it has yet to update despite all of the normal techniques to clear the IE cache. I have deleted all the temporary internet files, cookies and the files in the "view files" window of "Internet options." It doesn't matter whether I use IE or Firefox, the old avatar is still there even though the picture editor shows the new image is uploaded and selected. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Thanks. I appreciate it. I just logged in with Firefox and it's still Johnny Depp. I even tried a different pic of Superman, but I can't shake Johnny Depp.

Hey Rizz, Thanks. I'm not sure how to send the pic.

Anyway, I checked the two versions of the superman pic I tried to upload:

one is 292x172. The other is 480x360.

So maybe they are bigger than allowed?

Hi UberDog,

Usually it just resizes. What was the file size? Was it bigger than 250K? You can email your avatar to support @ covers.com and we can try and upload for you. Just include your username in the email

Same issue for me. When I go to edit profile, it shows the logo I uploaded, but when posting, it does not appear.

I followed all steps and ensured my avatar was sized properly.

Same here too. I had never taken the time to try and put up an avatar. I didnt think I was that dumb that I couldn't do it, glad it is not just me.
